Once again on here there are some that won't be happy unless the country is decimated by some freakish storm. Be careful what you wish for. On a happier note we have a light breeze in Lowestoft.

The weather will do, what the weather will do. Thank your God that not everything is certain. And stay safe.

Hi all. I'm in a caravan park in Hastings (static caravan). We are due to leave tomorrow at around 12pm.
Some people are leaving today. I really am torn! The children are obviously wanting another night.
Would it be ok to leave at around 9pm tonight for an hour journey to Brighton? As far as I can see, the winds won't hit until screw hours later but I'm struggling to catch up!
Or.. Maybe we can stay! Decisions decisions..
Edit: a few, not screw!
I liked it better before the edit.

A superb sunrise this morning lighting up the North Sea.

9 more hours tonight and I can pack up my tools and go home. Couldn't care less what the weather's like tomorrow as I'm heading straight for my bed.

Spent yesterday afternoon sitting in the garden drinking copius amounts of cold beer. Fell asleep and woke about 8pm freezing my bits off.

Another glorious sunny morning here. Frost is just beginning to melt. Not a cloud in the sky. If I wasn't working it would be perfect.

Yet another glorious Spring day here in Lowestoft. I'm working from 2pm today until 3pm tomorrow afternoon, and I'll be outside for the duration, so there is a slight possibility of getting a suntan.

Dolphins on Lowestoft Beach It was later found that they had committed suicide after walking through the town.

Just back from work and I can honestly say it's milder than it has been. Good news for all of us who work outside.

Finally brightening up here. Warmer tomorrow and then onwards and upwards.

A few flakes in the air now. The sun we had earlier has been replaced by nimbostratus
We just have clouds here.
-
No snow here, if anything the cloud is starting to break. Typically the snow only makes it as far as lowestoft, yet again
I wouldn't get too jealous, I'm not going to be putting my snow chains on the car just yet. A wee bit breezy though.

4th April 2013 and it's snowing in Lowestoft.

I thought I was discussing the weather. But people craving extreme winds when we all know what the consequences of that particular type of weather can mean is to my mind no less than ghoulish. Weather enthusiasts shouldn't be any different from other enthusiasts. Trainspotters wouldn't want to see a train crash.
