  1. Can see good altocumulus castellanus about with some hazy sunshine
  2. Grown into quite a cluster of showers around Blackpool and Ribble.
  3. No was too far west. Did have the odd rumble of thunder.
  4. Is that a cell near Chester?Hard to tell if it is real or a false image? There appear to be cells, the Fylde, Fleetwood area.
  5. Surprised by that. Cloud was developing here but it has gone back to that clag from this morning. Doesn't feel as though anything will kick off despite the humidity.
  6. Looks like cells have developed over the Fylde unless they are anaprop.
  7. Cumulus clouds are definitely developing here. Not sure how far the development is going to go but at the mediocris stage.
  8. Well Manchester Airport reported a dewpoint of 18C and a humidity of 88%
  9. Can see blue skies to my SW. Hopefully the high cloud clag will clear.
  10. Just rain here and I get the feeling that's it. Quite a line running from Cumbria to the north of Northern Ireland. That has really developed. It must be frustrating for storm lovers in Wales to see that develop to the north of them.
  11. A cell has exploded to the SE of the Isle of Man. Really is pot luck with these storms.
  12. http://forum.netweather.tv/topic/77298-netweather-expressions-that-annoy-you/?p=2745568
  13. Dark but I'm not expecting much. The main part of the storm is to the east of me.
  14. The really heavy echoes looks like got hit the Manchester area, the east of me.
  15. Interestingly the last TAF given by Manchester Airport says towering cumulus.
  16. Have you ever chased a storm in NW England in your chasing career in this country? Do you know any of your fellow chasers ever chasing storms in this region? I get the feeling what we would consider a decent storm, you would say that was nothing.
  17. I think there would be some from the NW England who would say that the SE England still does better than this region. Thunder has been a rarity over the last few years.
  18. That's because the sun is setting. :lol:Actually can see some altocumulus castellanus towards Manchester.
