  1. And could you do annual sunshine’s figures for 2023 as well, would be really insightful.
  2. @SunSean I’ve not seen your sunshine figures graph here for a little bit, I hope you’re still doing them? Would you do an annual graph at the end of this year, would be very interesting to see who reaches over 2000 hours for 2023.”, though I guess it’ll be most likely sunny Eastbourne
  3. I just hope 2024 is the sunniest year on record. Spring and summer to be sunny, warm with a good few overnight thunderstorms and heavy rain to water nature and fill our water butts…that would be ideal for me. Whatever happens I just hope we don’t have to wait until May to feel some warmth like this year nooo ahh had enough of that this year
  4. Just like any other way to measure what may come weather wise beyond a week
  5. I don’t see anything in the bbc monthly outlook that indicates very cold weather. Anyway 10c is cold enough, roll on spring
  6. What lovely photos , thanks for sharing them. Think we got to about 75 hours according to Metciel, our average is 69.5, didn’t realise how historically dull November seems to be. It’s felt fairly cloudy to me but maybe my shifts have just fallen on the sunniest of days.
  7. Sounds lovely, love a sunny clear autumn/winter day too…November is notoriously a dull month but I think we’ve at least had a few extra hours of sunshine than the monthly average so that’s a small positive. Can only hope next year will be a sunnier year. Thanks for the like too @SollyOlly think that’s a first from you ha ha To be honest I’m not against cold weather at all, it’s very cosy, I’d just rather not feel it in most of spring let alone summer, this spring/summer was very trying at times. Plus it’s heating costs too seeing as I refuse to be cold indoors like some poor buggers will be, already used over £8 in energy today and would like to see some money back in spring from the £300 credit I’ve built up in energy credit but it’s not looking likely
  8. Hope you get to see some snow Yes, it’s rare for here in November, it feels frigid outside…looks stormy on the latest gfs which is my favourite type of autumn/winter weather, not had any gales so far but had a close call with the storm that hit Channel Islands/northwest France a few weeks back, had it tracked 50 -100 miles further north it would have been one for the history books
  9. My main point was that forecasters should be saying degrees celcius rather than degrees in their forecasts as it would be misleading to some foreigners ie Americans
  10. It’s been fairly lightly/moderately snowing in Exeter, Devon, rare for November ️ it’s not settling though, Dartmoor Is to our west where I think it’s snowing heavier and settling due to elevation. IMG_1258.MOV

  12. Well I guess so, maybe the USA needs to get with program then
  13. Feels Baltic tonight though brrr, relieved i don’t have to wake up at 6am tomorrow and defrost my car, will happily be snug in my bed and sound asleep if my body clock lets me
  14. Kelvin confuses me so much, sounds very toasty ha
  15. Personally I’d prefer Fahrenheit, celcius is confusing but whatever, mostly I’d like weather reporters to use the correct terminology ie celcius or Fahrenheit not degrees
  16. Why am I not surprised with the USA ha always wanting to sound the best
  17. It’s an issue because 41f feels a lot different to -15 lol as I said we should all use Fahrenheit to save confusion
  18. Does it bother anyone else when many tv weather reports say degrees rather than degrees Celsius which is what they mean. BBC do it all the time, international viewers must think we are Baltic when reporters are saying for example ‘it’ll be 5 degrees’ rather than saying it’ll be 5 degrees Celsius which is the correct term ie 41 degrees farenheit, it really is irritating to me as 5 degrees is -15c We should do away with Celsius and use Fahrenheit only in my opinion.

  20. Well 12 if it warms up by March but remember it didn’t get properly warm and settled until mid May this year
  21. Well 16 more weeks until it’ll hopefully start warming up, maybe even 12 if we get a warm up early in March
  22. One thing I am really really hoping for is a better overall spring and summer next year and an early start to warmth rather than having to wait until May. I like snow but it’s just so rare so no point In chasing weather models for it, if it’s a good storm or settled sunny weather then I’m interested
  23. I do wonder why the MOD thread does it to themselves every year ️ I’d just like a long period of dry sunny weather after the past 3 months of 335mm of rain
