I think the GFS is wrong, I'm looking at quite a few decent shower heading east over Essex right now, by the Thames. If they band together the game is on, and it'll be decent.

Is it occluded or something, otherwise we are are going to be seriously cold before it comes. I think it's unlikely.

What's falling here is powder snow, but it's so windy, I'm just watching it blow down the street. Got to find the drift tomorrow.

Yep there is, but that one spot of anoprobe that's always there during cold convective weather, must be caused by something, but I've no idea what. Is there a boy their, have that put a radar station there, unlikely. I don't think it's a wind farm. Not sure if there's any placforms in that part of the north sea.

Anyone want some good news? The cloud has cleared Dover, we now have clouds and stars, good news for anyone looking for convection.

I'm not so sure, remember how long that streamer that gave us rain showers non stop for days a few weeks back, I think the radar looks like that. Of course it's unlikely to last that long, as it's snow. But it's gonna be a good night I think.

Yep, but only around 4.8cm on ground hard surfaces, which is where I measure. It's higher on grass.

And here, apart from main roads. All salted now. Not my road or the hills up to it though lol. Just been Aldi.

Nice, although may be to far to look yet. But if it is still cold then, the ground will not melt the snow.

Are they, I thought they where warmer than that, still minus of course but more like twelve or so.

I think so, it's filling up and East Kent has new developments too, I think it's starting, fingers crossed it builds up a bit more omf.

Temp is still minus two in Langdon, DP however has dropped to minus three in the last hour.

My road isn't lol. It's all Ice in the tire tracks. Just round the corner there are tire tracks on the road where at least two cars have lost control for a bit.
