Well since I've lived in Dover, moved here in 2013, but after the snowy weather, in the summer. It's been the best snow event here I've seen, had snow in the garden till Monday morning from Sunday week before. Who can ask for more. But the best snow event I've seen for totals was in 2009 when I lived in Croydon. Knee high on an adult and not even a drift. Phantastic.
Yep I feel colder in this weather, than in cold weather. It's strange I find, but it always happens. A proper cold spell always feels much warmer than it is. To do with low DP I think.
Was expecting no snow left by now, but can still see patches of it that survived the night, even through the rain, on the hills. Not sure about the garden yet, haven't looked.
Still have a -6 DP here. Which is kind of where we were most of the time. But the air certainly feels different, more heavy. You can tell it wants to rain. Except it drys up before getting here still .
British weather is weird, we are finally in positive temps after being negative for ages, with a cold wind. But it feels colder today than it has done.
The air is do dry, -9 here DP wise, it would be hard for the ppn to get down to ground level, unless it's heavy, which this front isn't. Some light snowfall might get through for some.
Nice and cold tonight again, if only there could be more snow never mind. Might be some ice rain rather snow on Sunday. We'll see. Itv news weather mentioned the possibility.
