  1. It's too warm this evening, feels weird after that cold spell. Still was always going to warm up, but did it have to bring rain lol.
  2. Well since I've lived in Dover, moved here in 2013, but after the snowy weather, in the summer. It's been the best snow event here I've seen, had snow in the garden till Monday morning from Sunday week before. Who can ask for more. But the best snow event I've seen for totals was in 2009 when I lived in Croydon. Knee high on an adult and not even a drift. Phantastic.
  3. Looks west based again, in which case we keep the cold and wet stuff going.
  4. No sun here just cloud mist and cold dampness. Who wanted this weather back?
  5. Yep at the moment it's warmer but still feels chilly to me lol, 7c and feels freezing.
  6. Yep I feel colder in this weather, than in cold weather. It's strange I find, but it always happens. A proper cold spell always feels much warmer than it is. To do with low DP I think.
  7. I married during the month of September, just an ordinary day weather wise. Bit of sun bit of cloud no rain.
  8. Personally I felt colder yesterday, than I felt through the cold spell, I'm weird I think lol.
  9. Was expecting no snow left by now, but can still see patches of it that survived the night, even through the rain, on the hills. Not sure about the garden yet, haven't looked.
  10. Rain just about to get here, or I assume rain anyway, as that's what everyone else is getting. Temp 3c dp -5c
  11. Still have a -6 DP here. Which is kind of where we were most of the time. But the air certainly feels different, more heavy. You can tell it wants to rain. Except it drys up before getting here still .
  12. British weather is weird, we are finally in positive temps after being negative for ages, with a cold wind. But it feels colder today than it has done.
  13. Only just reached 1c here, DP still -8 snow still in front garden, back garden, and on the pavement opposite, melted from most roofs now though.
  14. This front isn't the break down though, it's still very cold tomorrow, the break down is on Sunday evening. But looks to be a snowless one.
  15. The air is do dry, -9 here DP wise, it would be hard for the ppn to get down to ground level, unless it's heavy, which this front isn't. Some light snowfall might get through for some.
  16. It was supposed to break up, we'll see what it does. Seems to have encountered resistance, if you look on sat, the front end, is getting thicker.
  17. Well if it carries on coming, it'll either stay dry, or snow lightly I expect.
  18. I would think a boundary layer has set up, where warm air is rising above the cold air we have.
  19. Nice and cold tonight again, if only there could be more snow never mind. Might be some ice rain rather snow on Sunday. We'll see. Itv news weather mentioned the possibility.
  20. Same here, roof, back garden, front garden, and even on the pavement opposite, my house is south facing, and the sun just isn't getting there.
