GEFS mean is nice. Broad direction of travel remains exactly the same.
Please don't, really enjoying your posts and it's also helping me to keep on the level. Also learning quite a bit along the way.
unless you have to of course for sanity reasons.

The latest NMM just out has still got a feature developing soon , however as @Neilsouthsays I agree I think we are seeing the end of this now . Would be elated if this was wrong. And this model hasn't been great today either .

Heavy snow and possible blizzards today from the streamer that was very close to us here over the channel but barely ever even clipped the coast, a few flakes, praise the lord, were blown this way from the sea and miraculously made landfall, tried to settle for a while down by the De la Warr on the sea front.
Now who was it that said yesterday that we should have hired a boat?
Yes I am surprised actually that some areas got as much as they have . Great to see.

Very dry air also moving into the North Sea too, lower and lower dewpoints
Yep , happy to concede defeat here . You are right I think.
Great to see snow falling today, never expected much today anyway apart from seeing snow fall. The light snow now falling is beginning to settle as temperatures fall and the dew points plummet, may be able to make a mini snow man to put in the freezer .

He does state " It’s a wait and see in next few hours, it is unpredictable "
Radar/Sat Images says otherwise
Of course, lets find out , you may be right.

Calling an end to this event IMO opinion is still premature for some. We will see and if it fails I doth my cap.

South west London snow shield has been activated. Probably the most frustrating area of the south east to live in for snow.
Should see some in the next 30/40 mins looking at the radar .

Surprised to see some SE bashing and p!ss taking about possible snow tomorrow elsewhere. At the end of the day I'm happy for anyone who might experience snow as its rare as non corrupt politicians these days.
It's an event tomorrow as there's a chance of snow and a chance of settling snow for some.
Who wouldn't get excited for that on a site where 90% of people are hunting for snow
Still looks like anything before Monday night is a bonus with the chance of some snow for heaviliy populated areas.
And as experience tells us sometimes it surprises us all with heavy snow and sometimes it doesn't. That's the exciting bit (and admittedly disappointing) if it doesn't work out).
Yea , I was taken a little aback when the banter started at my posts , I just shrugged it off but in truth I would love to see snow falling tomorrow and I have changed my day off to tomorrow at work so I can see it happen, if it does . Nutter I know .

I remember this well , I also heard about this squall line and was begging my line manager to give me a lift to woking station early, I was working in bookham and knew a remote station like that would be crippled. Anyway we left late and it started to rain, I remembered my boss saying and laughing " see you had nothing to worry about" 5 minutes later she couldn't hardly see in front of her. I managed that evening to get pretty much the last fast train out of woking as an hour later the lines we're crippled as normal. I was telling my boss for the next week that I told her so . It was epic .
