Some will be over the moon tomorrow, but unfortunately some of us will be disappointed, but here's hoping we all get a taste of snow tomorrow let's all post pictures no matter how much or how little we get

God have you seen the most recent ECM? The whole of Ireland under deep cold by next Wednesday, nothing marginal about that if it verifies!

They weren't forecasting much precipitation for Ireland though, I suppose its still too early to know

ECM and Ukmo both looking really good, snow followed by high pressure, mind you I'm not sure how we'll be affected by the high pressure start of next week. Cold in Britain but r we too far west

Sorry Moutain should've added caveat in my location. No warm up generally, just using the discredited local apps in my location on the north coast wind direction makes all the difference and from the 6-15 day update "Friday and Saturday will see sunshine and snow showers across Britain most frequent and heavy across the North and northwest"

Not according to the metoffice, brief warm up Thursday night then snow showers Friday and Saturday. In my location Saturdays down as the coldest day!

And the met office weather app now showing snow in my location Thursday and Friday. Starting to look good!

Glad to see some positive talk on here at last. The reason we follow this thread is we're snow mad and enjoy the chase. Even if it only ends up being a couple of flakes when we're watching the lamppost

Looking very good, even if there are downgrades I'm confident we should see the white stuff in January
