Couple of big snow showers today, its lying but then melts, so no accumulations, does anyone know if its to last all night or will milder temps return by morning?

Snowing heavily for the past half hour, we're right on the snow line, wrong side for most of it but lying more the longer it lasts.

No definitely picking here! Lights are flickering I'll be devastated if power goes off and I can't follow how everyone is coping-

Very strange strong winds for about an hour and now calm with clear sky. Storm can't of passed yet?

Probably no warnings yet as they're not sure how much will settle. West coast will take a pounding from the wind, hopefully on north coast south west wind direction will help us!

Whether we get snow on Thursday or day not I'm fairly confident now that we'll get lying snow at least once between now and new year! I'm not going to hazard a date though just yet!

Great to see the gfs is giving us a chance of a White Christmas in Ireland, fingers crossed, borderline even if verifies!

Snow may fall but will probably be only temporary at low levels, temps aren't low enough:(
