I have a fear that it'll push too far East, whatever happened to Westward corrections, doesn't look like it's going to stall either unless over the East side of the country. Still we'll all know in a day or two!!

Just a standard windy winters day here, a few lively gusts but nothing like last night, which sounded pretty epic, no wind speeds afraid as haven't downloaded my weather station. Quite a few trees down and fields around the farm have water where I've never seen it lie before. Shame it isn't snow, be some lovely drifts!

Is it ahead of schedule, thought the worst of it was tomorrow morning, getting pretty wild out at the moment. For sure they'll be plenty of trees down what with the rain, sodden ground and these winds that are only going to get worse.

Yup, all but stopped here and temp gone back up to 2.1C. I reckon where you get the heavier precip it may turn to snow.

Drizzle for most of the morning here although now have sleet with occasional flake, wind is from the East and temp currently 1.8C

Sun obscured by cloud now and temp has dropped markedly going from 5C it's currently dropped down to 3.4C and falling, I hope some of us are lucky!!

Just had a very light one here, 1 degree showing on my thermo and yet it was rain, no sleet or snow.

I'm thinking it'll correct Westward and we'll be in with a good chance, with luck. Not sure the charts are terribly reliable with FI being 48hrs if that, they are so diverse currently.

Re the MOD thread, one word "Tamara" I haven't a clue what she talks about and struggle to even understand her English, obviously a very bright spark!!

The same here, been in and out of the Mod Thread for quite some time and yet am none the wiser especially after today. Anyone would have thought we are heading for serious cold/snow but apparently it would appear it will be no more than just a blip. The one saving grace being that those who have/are flooded out should get a respite from the deluge that has been the last 2 months. No doubt we'll all know more re cold/snow early next week, but must say am looking forward to some cold crispy days/nights and a foot or 2 of snow would be perfection!!!

Certainly had snow in the night but didn't see it, fast asleep. An icy slush remains on the flat roof, but thats all! Looking forward to this winter and here's hoping for plenty of snow.
