  1. I know everyone looks out for their patch but I’ve missed every single shower !!! aaahhhh
  2. did well in December so not complaining but have missed every single shower.
  3. I’ll be amazed if anyone gets 5-10cms’over the hills’. hopefully a trough comes down around 9pm
  4. All looking a bit crap at the moment. Need these showers to beef up.
  5. Was expecting the Irish Sea to be a little more lively. Looks a non event unless it peps up later.
  6. But this warning area is for today/tonight not that feature tomorrow
  7. Just inside! Hopefully catch a rogue shower that dares to venture too far East!
  8. I’m expecting nothing tonight but may catch a shower in the next 3 days. On a side note this guy is worth a watch if people want to geek out. He has converted a van and drives to where the next snow storm is and waits it out. https://youtube.com/@TravelersTale
  9. I live in Clayton le Woods about 100m asl. Just east of the M6. I’m almost at the start of the ‘hills’ going east up to Belmont. It’s a 10 minute drive to White Coppice and a nice walk up to the great hill. Blackburn etc is around 200m asl then you need to go further to Rossendale to be 300m asl. Couldn’t agree more
  10. Just look at that. You’d bite someone’s hand off for a chart like that but it looks like just a few frosts are all that’s in order
  11. The heart of winter and it’s going to rain in Chorley !!!! Wintry showers are expected to develop across Northern Ireland, Wales and western England during Sunday afternoon and evening, extending east across southern Scotland and the remainder of northern and central England. Clearing skies later in the night are expected to lead to ice developing on untreated surfaces. Showers will mainly fall as rain at low levels but could turn to snow in heavier or more prolonged showers resulting in 2-5 cm accumulating in places above 100-200 m, for example west of Northern Ireland, Cumbria, Pennines and north Wales.
