  1. I haven’t read any posts where members are throwing toys. I think there are just some people saying that because that’s what you are meant to say when the Atlantic looks like winning out.
  2. Ok will do They just don’t seem very stable when they come along.
  3. We wait for easterlies for ages then when we get one it only lasts for a few days before slipping East. Is it only me that’s a bit disappointed that it can’t stay in situ for a bit longer?
  4. Yep Chorley (Lancashire) no good in Eastetlies. Still hoping for battleground scenarios where the Atlantic pushes in but doesn't Win!
  5. Better wedge of pressure up towards East Greenland at 132hrs on the 18z.
  6. I’d be interested in that day 10 ECM chart. Straight Easterlies don’t bring snow to West Lancashire generally. It’s fun watching the chaos elsewhere but we only got a light dusting in March. A battleground scenario however would get me polishing the bulb in the back garden spotlight.
  7. The FV3 continues the good work from the 12z and helps us sleep better tonight.
  8. Nope. Just going to be wet and windy for a few days. I’m starting a petition to sack their editor.
  9. Lots of people commenting recently how the NH is predisposed to blocking throughout December. The MO isn't having any of it however. Blue commenting this morning to look for height rises to Scandi, I hope he's right. Nothing worse than a warm Christmas.
  10. UK Outlook for Thursday 13 Dec 2018 to Thursday 27 Dec 2018: The first few days of this period are likely to see an east to west split. Some wet and possibly windy weather is likely in the west, with the east having generally drier weather with some fog, frost and possibly some snow showers too. Wrong thread but I'm amazed no one has mentioned this. You can only have snow showers in the East from an Easterly wind ! Maybe this!
  11. GP why are the Met going for a milder run up to Xmas on their extended then ? Cheers
