  1. ICON not backing down. Exeters ‘Through the rest of this period confidence is low, but there is an increased chance of more unsettled conditions spreading from the west’ could be amazing if we can hold onto the amplification and trough / cold with the Atlantic bumping into the cold air, who knows
  2. Really disappointing from the ECM. It was only 3 days ago it was showing this for the 13th and 14th January. when it’s now showing
  3. I know it’s Fi but you can see where some of the milder ENS are coming from. This chase is exhausting .
  4. 192hrs Just looks a mess. Doesn’t look enough forcing to drop the trough over us. Hardly a robust Greeny high.
  5. UKMO 168hrs Different to ECM over Greenland. Who’s right?
  6. Yep. Heights drained away then got reinforced from the West!
  7. GFS heights draining away and no push up to Greenland.
  8. Before it gets too busy this is what we want. Original post: https://community.netweather.tv/topic/99706-model-output-discussion-into-2024/?do=findComment&comment=4996443
  9. I wasn’t on this forum in 2010, ney matter I’m on now and it’s going to be a repeat of that. Country wide cold, Schools shut, Chaos, Cobra meetings, Sledging, the daily Express being right, hot pot, winter walks, everything that falls out of the sky is dry snow, snow events left right and centre. Can’t wait. It’s Happening !
  10. If you run the ecm through it actually looks like the first high sinks and the greenie high is a result of the second push of heights.
  11. I really don’t understand the fascination with bone dry, cold, Sunny Easterlies. Some might get the odd shower under this set up surely you need lower heights.
  12. I think we are heading somewhere around here by mid month . Time to checkout for 7 days and let it unfold.
