    I couldn’t be less concerned about some wind that I will sleep through. Just want a decent snow event. Just one per Winter will do.

    Moor people die of Skin cancer due to the Sun. Yet the weather presenters talk of ‘the best of the sun’ and the ‘worst of the snow’.

    Well i’ve been pretty chipper last few days looking forward to 4/5 days of snow showers. Then the low appeared and ruined a day And will melt any snow. The northerly is now not modelled at the weekend. NWS is right maybe Tuesday may be fun then that’s about it.

    Just got a feeling it’s turning into a non event. Even if we have lying snow that low will wash it all away! Anyway must stay positive ?

    Stupid low now going through Scotland on the ECM.

    Thursdays low goes through the NW. Need it to correct South.

    Although the apps are poor i’d r ather them be showing snow not 4 degrees and rain.

    I’ve looked at all the data. Read all the posts. Looked at all the Tweets ..........and I have no idea if it’s going to snow (and lay) or it’s just going to be rain shower after rain shower. Pitty it’s a mid week event.

    Just irritates me why the bbc has me down for 4 degrees and rain.

    I’m usually just far enough out of Preston which really is as bad as it gets for snow. I’m just on the edge of the high terrain. Often I get snow/sleet whilst my folks in Leyland get rain. Fingers crossed.

    NWS if you mention altitude one more time I swear to god!! i’m 90m asl. If it’s rain i’m not going to be happy. House may have to go on the market.
