  1. Hi all, just popping in from the southeast thread, hoping you'll be ok, stay safe
  2. Thought it would be a bit busier in here, euphoria in the mad thread, garden path comes to mind, as no doubt, it will go belly up.
  3. @TomSE12 Im so sorry for the horrendous few months you've suffered, and I hope you can find some comfort in this mad world. Im glad you're still posting on here, and I look forward to some winter shenanigans. Take care.
  4. Evening all, just settling down to watch the mighty reds, all nice and toasty in my flat, after a simply glorious day. Is TomSe12 still here, although i've not posted much, I do pop in regularly. Take care all, footy is just starting
  5. Im at the top of a hill, when I tap the postcode it's around 70m, 1st time i've ever used the phone location, and it came up with 110m, be nice to get an accurate reading
  6. Morning all, anyone know of any way, that I can get an accurate answer, as to my elevation. I've just tried, using my phone's location, and it's displayed that im 110m asl, which is a lot higher than the 70m I originally was led to believe. Hope everyone is good
  7. Had a pick up late afternoon, from the chapel down winery, nr tenterden. Spotted this on the way, just had to take a photo.
  8. Beautiful sunny morning, after the deluge. Certainly been some very heavy rain, some of those showers yesterday, were biblical. Have a good day all.
  9. A much calmer day so far, going to venture out in an hour or so. Very windy early evening, I could hear the wind blowing the trees. It's quite therapeutic listening to it, as you're comfortable indoors
  10. Wind certainly picking up outside, just had a 5 minute power cut, hopefully no more of those, I have no candles in the flat lol
  11. 1st night in a while, but I feel a little chilly, a glorious day after the heavy showers last night. Looking like an Autumn storm over the weekend, I can't wait for the 1st frost, and the excitement of the snow chase. Can't beat an all nighter.
  12. 1st morning in a long time, where i've put a hoodie on lol, some heavy rain and strong winds as that squall line came through, summer is over. I've just seen a post on Facebook, from the Midlands storm chasing group, about a rapidly deepening dartboard low for sunday. Certainly looks very impressive, though a long way off
  13. Where's the beautiful sunshine gone lol, been a stunning few days here, but boy, do we need some rain. Sad day today, with the great jimmy greaves passing, and then the great john challis, aka boycie,. Enjoy the rest of the day people.
  14. Didn't turn out too bad a day here, most of the heavy rain missed, and what arrived was all gone by 10am, couple of spits and spots, that was it. Still warm, still in my shorts, mind you, I wear shorts in the winter, ha ha ha.
  15. Hi all, well what can I say, lovely storm last night, some good boom thunder, and some beautiful lightning. How is everyone?, 1st post in a while, and it appears i've gained a few awards on here lol. Im glad summer is coming to an end, not a fan of heat etc, and im very much looking forward to seeing the 1st posts of winter, although I hope I don't fall a4£e over t8t again, and smash 5 ribs, painful run up to christmas that was.
  16. Hello good people, im from the south east thread, but currently in dobwalls, nr liskeard. Who says it never rains in Cornwall lol, hope you're all ok, fingers crossed for some much better weather, even just till friday will do. Hoping to see some of the beauty that Cornwall has to offer
