  1. Well, that was windier than I was expecting, garden this morning has taken a pounding, my pot's have been overturned, and my poor marigolds are not looking too clever. I've also lost a terracotta saucer.
  2. Hello gang, apologies for my lack of checking in etc, I trust I find you very well. First things first, that's a tad windy out there tonight, I can hear the roar, blowing through the trees, and I'm very surprised there's only a yellow out. Although it moves through quickly, it's a vicious little so and so, with some very eunice type strength to it. I'll have to have the fan on, to drown out the noise, or no sleep for me.
  3. Anyone on that cell off the coast of Southampton, some big totals showing up
  4. Had a couple of strikes nearby, around 5.15am, but that was it, I'm more annoyed that there's no rainfall again here. Had a 2 min burst and that's it, really hoping the heavy rain will move eastwards.
  5. 2 mins worth of rain so far, definitely further west than forecast. Not to bothered on missing out on the thunder, but I do hope that heavy rain moves eastwards.
  6. I did think about heading down to jury's gap in camber, but work has got in the way, early start tomoz, good luck all those that are chasing, and stay safe.
  7. A very autumnal misty morning here, and some very welcome rain yesterday. Certainly saved me a good 45 mins or so, with the watering can.
  8. Disappointed with the thunder, 1 very distant rumble, but I'm very happy with the rain, more of that please Some lovely clouds, and puddles lol, I'd forgotten what they looked like
  9. Anyone no any magic spells, heat be gone, it does amazing things to my digestive system, and I need no help at all in that department. I genuinely hope that the heat that's showing for next week, is swiftly removed.
  10. Hurry up and naff off heat, I've truly had enough now, sweating doing nothing. We need rain
  11. Yes and no, I'm very concerned regarding the increase, in the already ludicrously priced gas and electricity. I worry about the elderly and everyone else, who's struggling massively, while this inept government sit back and do nothing, probably due to the fact that, there major shareholders in the energy companies etc etc, but that's enough of that. I'd love a very snowy winter, with proper snow, not the usual snow showers here and there, with huge variations from village to village etc. As long as there's some decent rain for us in the south east, in between frequent cold spells, I'll be happy
  12. Rain rain rain, but not from the 22nd September, until the 30th in Cornwall please, if 1 of you lovely people in here, could arrange that. Me and my family will be very thankful. Hope you're all good, stay out of the midday sun, very strong. The old man spent 4 nights in hospital the other week, with sun stroke, not helped by the fact that he's Italian, and thinks he can handle it, as he grew up with hot temps etc. Stubborn to the core. Good day all
  13. Trees have gone into survival mode, desperately need some decent rainfall, but nothing in for the foreseeable sadly
  14. I see a pattern change is happening across the pond, I'm hoping this fires the jet stream up, and we can actually get some decent spells of rain, here in the south east. It's bone dry, and If it stays dry through the rest of summer, and a dry winter, we'll be in real trouble next year.
  15. All I want is 30 min deluge, is that too much to ask, apparently yes it is. Desperate for rain
  16. The change will happen overnight, I had that stuff, come through at lunchtime, I'm in Minehead, soon as it cleared, the temp shot up again. Got the 2nd front coming through now, and it's made a huge difference here
  17. Indeed, I'm in Minehead for a few days, rain came through, I thought that's it, once it cleared, the temp has shot up very quickly
