  1. Hopefully it will perk up as it gets closer, lost a lot of intensity over the channel
  2. Always nice to see falling snow, had a slight dusting, just a shame its April. Hopefully next winter will work out for us, now roll on some warm weather, and some hefty thunderstorms
  3. Well, I must say how proud of myself I am, managed to make it through the epic winter of 21-22, it was a tough journey, especially with the snowstorm earlier, hope everyone else has battled through ok
  4. Just been for a lovely walk around Tenterden, whilst my regular customer shops in tesco. What a beaut of a day, someone have a word with the models. Had all winter to be cold etc.
  5. Lovely day in the sun, 1st time in just a t shirt, jacket was back on a bit later. Wind is still cold
  6. What an awful day it's been, stuck under a constant barrage of cloud and rain, it's still raining now, hopefully it will naff off overnight. Really had enough of this grey, monotonous drivel.
  7. More drab grey drizzly murk everywhere, yesterday was lovely, wishing for spring to make a very welcome appearance, but old man winter could be on the move towards us.
  8. Morning all, the lack of posts says it all. Winter down here has been diabolical, for me, it's easily the poorest winter for a few years, a 0 out of 10. So looking forward to a continuation, of the beautiful sunny weather, over the last couple of days. Along with some much needed spring warmth. Off to Bexhill in a minute, for my weigh in at Man V Fat league. Have a good sunday all
  9. Anyone here from southend, the current top temperature, showing on here, has southend at 40c lol, just wondered how you're all coping
  10. Eunice was certainly wild for 2-3 hours, I have a new addition to the garden, a 60ft tree, further disruption over the coming days as well. Hope everyone is ok, and not too much damage suffered.
  11. There's trees down everywhere, roads closed, roofs blown off, tiles, overturned lorries, etc etc, it was like someone had turned on a wind machine. Some real big gusts, and a roar which was both alarming, and beautiful. Hope you're well Tom, maybe next winter, the snow cup can return
  12. Well, Eunice did not disappoint, that was pretty wild for a couple of hours. Came back to the flat to find a 60ft tree, blocking the way in, and the garden fence obliterated
  13. Im all for something a bit more lively, been poor for us snow starved southeasterners, but not that lively. Would certainly make for some huge waves
