Yes have to agree. It's not my type of weather at all but let's face it, we're reading this cuz we're all interested in the weather so being part of an event or even history today is still exciting Just take good care everyone!

32c here now at midday! Gone up 2c in an hour so if it keeps this up then we will definitely beat the record today I think!

25c here already just after 10am. Feels like today is going to be a hot one.... Just a sign of things to come!

Looks like it's ended up warmer than forecast here today, currently nearly 27c and was predicted about 25. Noticed Sunday has been trending up last 24h or so too. Was going to be about 28 and now it's showing 31c on meto. Guess it means more chance of the record going Mon or Tues cuz the Sunday overnight min might be a bit higher....

Yeah it's crazy that Sheffield isn't in the red warning, it will be warmer there than Rotherham where I am and I'm in the red area! Met office have never gone above 37c for here on their website yet for Tuesday. We shall have to wait and see I guess. If we have to suffer this though id rather the record did go Let's hope storm potential keeps looking better as well

Looks horrible early next week. Roll on Wednesday and hopefully that's it for this year Doesn't even look like we'll be rewarded with any storms either at the end

Yeah let's enjoy the next few days which look to be just nice and warm, around 20c by day and better overnight temps. That's perfect for me! Then it looks to be round 2 of hot weather over the coming weekend and into next week. Some interest at least in records going which would make it worth it for me...

Very uncomfortable over night! But it's nice to hear and see rain this morning. Seems quite organised on the radar, perhaps more so than forecast? Feels cooler for now sat working next to the patio doors

Wet sleet mixed in with the rain here at the moment, let's hope it turns to snow when it slips South. Hopefully get some good showers overnight, be nice to wake up to a covering at my new, higher house before the season finishes

Yeah we seem to have missed out so far. Hopefully I'm moving house in a few weeks and gaining 40m altitude so you never know, I'm hoping it helps lol!! Interesting charts at the mo, perhaps an Easterly in march? Can still get snow then in Yorkshire. Fingers crossed anyway, the only snow I've seen was that Sunday afternoon in late November but obv that's not meteo winter so maybe my snow will be autumn and spring!
