Interesting back edge snow chat in model thread for Tuesday, that would be fun, hopefully we'd keep it for a little bit. To far away though to have any confidence in that. Yeah looking forward to blowing the fog away and getting the clear views back! -
Oh that's a shame. Pic below of here now, it's totally clear above, misty over the field. Yes not sure what make of Sunday. All about the angle of attack which seems to keep changing, so think we might see it keep altering for a few more days yet.

Yes indeed, it's been nice to see a bit of blue sky and the sun peeping out a little earlier. Going slightly misty again now and now down to -2.2 ! Looking like a very cold night coming up? Hopefully we will get some good snow over the coming weeks, this milder spell at the weekend looking like it's getting cut short which is nice to see

Got up to -0.9 earlier and now it's back down to -1.7 even though it's brightened up. Temps all over the place lol

Well 2 ice days in a row isn't to be sniffed at! Great stuff Max yesterday was 0.0c (which was actually at midnight from Saturday) and today it hasn't got above -1.8 Proper winter weather, love it. The trees, bushes and surfaces look spectacular covered in the thick frost from the freezing fog

Nothing at all in maltby lol! Just driven into Sheffield to see grandparents as it turns out and there's loads, even feel fairly deep in the city! Crazy looking at the radar back lol, so localised

Yeah it's light rain here now, got to laugh! Ground is now just bits of slush. Ground Shoul be frozen still as it's not got above 2c today (like when frost hangs around) but the thicker snow has gone? Youd think looking at the models and we're deep blue all week anything should be snow, but it's rain at the mo

Yeah just a few flurries here this morning. Let's hope for a streamer or something otherwise it's looking mostly dry for the next week isn't it? Shame!

Over 46mm here now, will I get to 50 by end of the day? Possibly! What a horrible, dark wet, miserable day! Shame it's not colder, this would have been a right dumping of snow

Great storm here last night, shield finally broken haha! Lots of great lightning been 2:30-3am and got 12mm rain as it kept raining really heavy well after storm had passed

Nothing here, but getting the strong wind from the downdrafts from Sheffield! Temp down to 18c now. Lovely and fresh Doesn't seem to be moving now, the storm just changing shape around Sheffield looking at radar

Looks like the showers to the north are slowly coming South and the rain to the south coming up, so it does look like Yorkshire could be the convergence zone later on. That might help us get something stormy perhaps?

Yeah it's looking like a bust really to me. Its just breezy with part cloudy & milky skies so not seeing any convection or storms for us See what this evening brings otherwise that's it

Need to hope tomorrow produces the goods for most of us otherwise it's another damp squib breakdown for most!! Can't remember the last time I heard thunder, years ago!....

Nothing here so far. Disappointing! After a week of high temps you think we could manage a decent storm as a reward but nothings happened as per usual! Just cloudy and breezy now

Well we caught up and just passed 31c here! Looks like the max temp prediction was spot on after the cooler morning

Yeah noticed past few days have been slightly cooler here Andy. Must be perfect wind direction off the field next to us and been a bit of a breeze off it. I checked wunderground in case my station was faulty but 3 all showing 21c now round my area and so is mine, so must be a local thing...
