    Why has my snow report been deleted. I posted at just gone 7am this morning. We got a bit more than 2 inches last night and have had 2 more very heavy showers this morning so far. Please don;t delete this one too mods.

    Well we got dumped on last night 2-3 inches of snow fell overnight Lovely temp is-0.8C lowest last night -2.1C

    Just had another heavy shower lasting 20 mins, Im just south of grape soda and what she gets I get and I count about 5 snow showers here today. This is fun. We now have huge cumulonimbus, ( thats not right I know!!) growing in the east again, this could be an interesting night.

    OH my god it's chucking it down with very heavy snow here , huge flakes and no sign of a let up just yet, Im going out again this is way too much fun to be indoors :unsure: :o

    Temp 0.2C, lowest it got all night too. We have had 1/2 cms of snow overnight. My window faces due east and I can see snow clouds coming our way iterspersed with blue sky. Quite pleased cos I was beginning to think I was jinxed against snow

    ok update since this morning we have had 6 snow showers lasting from 2-10 mins. As I type it is snowing again now, temp is 0.8C and falling. However due to the ground being very wet it's not sticking.

    I took this a few weeks ago from the field outside the house. A stunning red cloud formation in the winter evening sky. It was like this for nearly 20 mins.

    Her is south Lincolnshire we had a dusting overnight But then at 9am the kids came in when I was fast asleep, after a very late night on the furums, and shouted that it was snowing heavily. true to their word it was and lasted about 30mins, big fat fluffy flakes bouncing around in the strong wind, which I hasten to add is a tad chilly. So 9:30am now and its stopped and the damn sun has come out again. Temps 0.5C however looking at the radar it looks like we should get a few more before the day is out.

    We just had a snow/sleet shower come over in the last 10 mins. didn't amount to much as it's too warm at 2C.

    Its snowing here but I don't think it will stick, temp 1 C and dropping fast over last minute. It must be a shower cos I can see the stars to the east. Still nice to look at the first time this winter.

    Ashby de la Launde, Lincolnshire 30m ASL Dry but cloudy. Temp: 4.7°C steady Pressure: 1033 Steady. Another non descript day in the offering then, last night it was 8°C all night B) :o

    Well after days of synoptic gloom, today has dawned bright and sunney if not a little chilly. It's so nice to see the sun again. Temps here are 2.2 C wind virtually non existent Clear skies with a bit of hazy high cloud. I might have to get the metal detector out and go in the field, perfect weather for a few hours detecting.
