  1. The thing is that Hammond's graphics for the area to the south of London are at odds with the graphics used by the regional bulletins covering the same area. Either way, I don't get the excitement as it's all after dark and will be gone by lunchtime tomorrow if not earlier!
  2. Some of you on here are very easily pleased. It'll all be gone by mid day tomorrow!! Bring on the thaw!!!!!!!!!
  3. You clearly don't read the Express or Mail then.....especially the former, which has weather related front page headlines pretty much every day!!!
  4. Met Office are still suggesting rain on Sunday??? And this is their 4pm update.....at 3.40pm!! A strong, bitterly cold wind developing Friday, and also with snow spreading eastwards. Less windy for Saturday, and also becoming milder, with rain expected later Sunday.
  5. New poster on these things, but have been reading them for a while now in an attempt to grasp what may happen a few days down the road, as what I do job wise is heavily dependent on whether snow arrives. I seem to be in a huge minority in that I'm glad it's not here in Surrey, and that I'm very happy that it's been that way. Hopefully the forecasts for the next few days are correct, even though I keep reading about these "epic" events on one of the other forums.....the "yes it is", "no it isn't" one, which is really off putting for someone trying to get a handle on the upcoming situation!
