I have no idea what the forecasters are looking at anymore. I suspect they think that snow wont come far into Yorkshire. It looks like they think it will fizzle out around Sheffield.
Yeah, worth keeping an eye on, not seen any mention on the weather forecasts.
This website seems to think it will snow (and it's been quite good) so maybe that's the snow it's forecasting?
From 2mins 25 secs here. Looks like threat of snow coming is from the coast, but majority seems further north at least according to the forecast. Some amazing lines of snow in the north of Scotland coming in!

The amber warning doesnt cover areas below South Yorkshire, so I can't see it being from that low moving up the country. I can only presume it's from something else!
Wow. Radar is a surprise although again I have two different forecasts. BBC says heavy snow showers all day with sunny intervals. Met Office says heavy snow showers until 10am and overcast for the rest of the day. .
Radar looks more to agree with Met Office.
Still plenty of showers coming inland and although it's been snowing steadily here it's not accumulated much. Wife just went for a cig, says it's proper cold.
