  1. 00z GFS 06GFS The slow unravelling and descent into the usual bland nothingness - still it's only one run
  2. Looking very sketchy this morning for any meaningful cold anytime soon, apart from a bit chilly in the south this weekend. Even the 35 day ENS look bland throughout March.
  3. Going for a repeat of history - The Great Blizzard of March 1891 2023 to please the SW brigade. The Great Blizzard of March 1891 - Historic UK WWW.HISTORIC-UK.COM One of the greatest storms of all time hit the west of England on 9th March 1891, bringing with it severe gales, heavy snow and freezing temperatures...
  4. GFS 18z is determined and still hell bent to serve us up a steamy mild plate of cr*p tonight
  5. Blimey - March heading towards record mild Bartlett territory according to GFS 00z. Fortunately there is considerable spread and a few decent cold options on the table as well as a better end D10 with ECM. ECM ENS do show a trend up as we head into March though.
  6. P16 would be pleasant otherwise a cooling trend after the early March warm up
  7. Generally looking like High Pressure dominated across the models this morning. Temps average with some cool nights maybe, certainly nothing remotely wintry on the horizon.
  8. London might just scrape a frost with the Op wanting to a mild spoilsport.
  9. Sure - but we could end up in the clag if the pattern slips too far west.
  10. A lack lustre ECM D10 with a benign easterly, maybe chilly but far from wintry at this stage. In danger of sinking SE leaving the UK in SSE or eventiually SSW flow.
  11. No sign of much through March apart from average from GFS 35 day ENS
  12. Cool to average maybe, with GEM giving us a mild easterly at the end! You couldn't make it up
  13. Yes, a little tweak to the North with the High would make all the difference to the UK - much like what happened a fortnight ago - re-run !
  14. Stuck record weather for the foreseeable, mild then average at best. With one of Nick Sussex's Limpit Highs determined to take up permanent residence near or over us.
  15. Solidly mild and zonal looking with a very intact vortex out to D10 and beyond. Stav on CF emphasising how incredibly mild it'll be this coming week as well, Meanwhile in Siberia it's -58C (nearly -60C!) - this country is a joke for so called 'winter' weather
  16. Nothing much of interest this morning apart from a few stragglers at the end. Even the 35 dayer is uninspiring, all roads lead back to Barty.
  17. A nice chart in deep FI on the face of it. Doesn't yield any snow (sod all even in the Highlands) and daytime temps around 4C not very exciting..
  18. Another appalling set of ENS coming out, not even any overnight inversion frosts now
