  1. Here you go: MOGREPS Model Viewer| Netweather.tv WWW.NETWEATHER.TV
  2. Yep, was quite a long lasting issue then. We're pushing invision to get it resolved asap, if not, we'll be pushing the button and looking to move everything back to our own servers pretty imminently as it's getting a bit much.
  3. You can access that here https://www.netweather.tv/charts-and-data/met-office
  4. There are a few 'will it snow in....' or 'what will the weather be like' type questions appearing, but unfortunately this isn't the thread for them. Best spot for those discussions is over in the regional groups: https://community.netweather.tv/clubs/
  5. As we have a fresh thread up and running, just a quick reminder that the model highlights thread is crowd-sourced. Please use the 'insightful' reaction on posts you think should be highlighted - when enough people mark a post as insightful, it'll be automatically copied over there. This is the insightful reaction: And the highlights thread is here:
  6. I think there have been a few things at play. The initial outbreak of slowness a couple of weeks back was database related and ultimately fixed within a few days. Beyond that we've had periodic slowdowns and temporarily unavailable messages which are actually very brief so you have to be somewhat unlucky to catch one . This issue is something in the data centre and is the problem that Invision are saying they'll sort soon (very soon I hope). Today seems to have been something network related between users and the forum servers, probably. Because the route the a user's connection can take to the server can vary between locations and isp's, some have obviously been fine today, while some saw a spell of slowness. Which by the looks of it has been resolved now.
  7. It's definitely beginning a feel a bit like winter. A couple from a chilly dog walk this morning.
  8. I'm not sure if there's a network or backbone issue somewhere, because I can see some increased loading times on our monitoring, but nothing to that extent and don't actually have any problems loading pages here. So, with any luck whatever the issue may be, it should be resolved soon.
  9. Invision have (finally) identified an issue in the datacentre which they think is the cause of the issues we've been seeing. They're aiming to get it fixed asap, so fingers crossed...
  10. I assume you're meaning on the local forecasts, as you're talking about specific temperatures in a specific place. Those are automated, they use the UKV in the first five days and the NMM's we run in house after that. We certainly make no manual 'sensationalism' interventions, and let's face it, even if we wanted to, how would we know what the person viewing wants to see? Hotter, colder, drier, wetter - they can all be sensational or share worthy to different people at different times.
  11. Yep, saw that this morning as well. We're hoping for a resolution one way or the other this week.
  12. There's a bit of an edge in here at the moment, which is unneeded. This isn't twitter - where ego, arguments (and worse) reign, there's no fight for rt's, likes, follows etc just to get people to even see what you have to say. Everyone's posts are visible and available to be read by anyone else who wants to. So, can we leave all that at the door please, and keep it friendly, respectful and reasonable. Our guidelines are here: https://community.netweather.tv/guidelines/ The driving principles of which are: Be kind -- Stay on topic -- Share your knowledge -- Be polite -- Be honest -- Be tolerant -- Be family-friendly
  13. Thanks to everyone for continuing to report this. We're still monitoring on this side and it's picking up a lot of the issues you're reporting, so it's good to confirm that what the tests say are happening to real users. We're in dialogue with Invision about the problems, so they'll hopefully get to the bottom of it very soon. But, if not, we are edging closer to moving the community back onto our own servers again.
  14. When you say 'struggled' - did you get an error or was it just slow?
  15. I'm not seeing any issues here or on our monitoring right now @ANYWEATHER - you sure it's not your internet connection?
  16. Thanks, our monitoring didn't pick anything up, so I'm fairly hopeful it's just a small scale thing rather than a return to it being crappy.
  17. Update from @Nick F Remembrance Sunday calm before Storm Debi arrives Monday morning WWW.NETWEATHER.TV The weather will be relatively benign for Remembrance Sunday. However, a deepening low named Storm Debi will arrive across Ireland tonight before moving across N England Monday, bringing severe gales...
  18. Lol, were you eavesdropping on us last week? Is high on the list to do, so hopefully won't be more than a week or so out.
  19. Invision think that they have hopefully tracked down the thing causing all of the problems over the last few days, so hopefully the community will be a lot more stable from here on in. Also, although it's unrelated to the slow-speeds and 'temporarily unavailable' messages, those seeing the 400 error and needing to clear their cookies and cache should hopefully stop seeing that now as well. Obviously, please continue to post in here if you do spot any problems. Thanks to everyone for flagging these issues up, it's been very helpful.
