  1. I can recreate the issue, I'll have to raise it with Invision as it's something related to their server I think.
  2. Ok thanks, I'll have a look and see what may be going on.
  3. Oh I see, so it's an issue on the community rather than the chart viewer?
  4. Ok, if it doesn't work, what happens when you click the link below? https://max.nwstatic.co.uk/ecmimages2/20231008/00/ecm500.000.png
  5. I'm not seeing any issues here Ian. Sounds like a network issue locally with you possibly, perhaps restarting your devices will resolve it.
  6. We're moving the haters threads to groups soon, so I'm going to lock this one to avoid it becoming a proxy for the others, sorry.
  7. The meto say they'll name things if they have the potential to produce an amber. Although they also seem to make it up as they go, so who really knows..
  8. I'm afraid you're going to have to wait until nearer the time to get the answers you want - it's just not possible to accurately predict the specific chance of rain in a single location at a single time at this range.
  9. You say that, but it's actually 1 million sq kilometres less.. So, yep the picture looks similar and 1986 was the previous low, but clearly there's even less sea ice than even then.. https://nsidc.org/arcticseaicenews/
  10. That chart shows they were average for much of England, not below. The blue areas are below average.
  11. I've moved a number of posts discussing the current weather from here to the Autumn thread, please can we try to keep this topic winter related.
  12. Yep: METAR EGNJ 231520Z 24008KT 210V280 9999 FEW030 29/27 Q1016=
  13. I can find a 27c in Humberside in June 2005 and a few 26c's over the years but definitely rare - something like 12 readings =>26c since 2005 in our database. (NB - it's possible some of these are bogus, as they're from raw metars / meto reports)
  14. The Met Office managed to get the 3z uploaded in full in the end, so we've run that retrospectively and it's available on the chart viewer now.
  15. Unfortunately, the Met Office have been supplying incomplete data for the extended runs over the last 24 hours. They're aware of the issue, so will hopefully get it resolved today.
  16. Refresh the page, it's been fixed now. Unfortunately, some of the met office model data that we use for the forecasts has been coming through incomplete over the last 24 hours, so we've had to drop over to a backup system.
  17. Thought today would be a good day to bring out the heatmaps, as there is at least a bit of that showing later next week. Both the ECM EPS and MOGREPS keen, as low pressure out to our west pulls up southerly winds.
  18. Please can we get back to weather in here, and leave the political discussion now.
  19. We haven't added the scales yet, but you can switch on the gridded display to see the figures
  20. Apologies for that, the certificate for the community is managed by Invision, but for some reason it didn't renew automatically.
  21. Jo Farrow, Singularity, Nick L, Ben Sainsbury, TWS, Derecho - to name a few others.
