  1. I think they're under the canopy of a building, probably the hotel and the tree is in front of that
  2. Quick update - most popular tours so far are 3 and 4. Still plenty of spaces on them currently but they will soon be limited if the current theme continues.
  3. Great news Gail, it'll come round quickly
  4. Hi Gail, yes credit or debit card
  5. All on the website - same as this year, tours 1-3 will be from Dallas, 4 from Denver
  6. Forgot to add to the post above, we have early-bird payment plans available which allow a low (£50) deposit and then payments spread over 10 months. On top of this, we're offering an additional £50 discount to those taking the payment plan option. http://www.weatherholidays.com/tornado/book.php
  7. The 2015 storm chase dates have now been confirmed, and the tours are open for bookings. We have an early-bird booking discount in place for bookings made between now and the end of June which offer a saving of up to £250 (£300 for returning guests) on the usual tour price. Please move quickly though as places are strictly limited and there is high demand. The tour dates are as follows: Tour 1Arr: 8th MayDep: 19th May Tour 2Arr: 19th MayDep: 30th May Tour 3Arr: 30th MayDep: 10th June Tour 4Arr: 12th JuneDep: 23rd June To book, or for more info please head over to our WeatherHolidays website:http://www.weatherholidays.com/tornado/book.php
  8. Thanks Neil, T3's first chase day is on Monday so may be an opportunity for the tail end of t2 as well
  9. I don't think this is a widespread problem and sounds like something specific to your pc I'm afraid as it's working fine on chrome from here & we have no other reports of problems. I'd recommend clearing your cookies and cache as this fixes things 9 times out of 10. If that doesn't work, try disabling any addons you have running in chrome 1 by 1 to see if any of those are causing an issue.
  10. Mostly a travel day for the team today as they head south down toward Amarillo, there is the chance of one or two storms popping up during their journey though so they'll chase them if they're nearby. The stream is live currently although network coverage can be a bit patchy in this region. http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=chaselive;sess=
  11. Not sure what you're meaning about the stream being hidden, but anyway the link is below, it'll display recordings of recent streams when there's no live stream on, and will show 'live now' in red at the top when the team are streaming. http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=chaselive;sess=
  12. 64k in june 2012 https://forum.netweather.tv/gallery/image/15983-lightning-map-28th-june-2012/
  13. You'd need to zoom the map in to see the detailed positions of the strikes really - it shows as over your location on the image, but once you zoom in you'd probably find it was a few miles away. Apart from a few isolated storms elsewhere, the bulk of the strikes have been through Wales on Monday and then the eastern side of England yesterday. So yep, not a great deal going on across most of northern England.
  14. It's a weather front William - have a read of Jo's update this morning for more info: http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=news;storyid=5909;sess= Yesterday saw over 6800 lightning strikes - pretty active but still behind Monday's 10k+ https://forum.netweather.tv/gallery/image/19864-lightning-map-22nd-may-2014/
  15. From the album: Random Pics

    Over 6800 lightning strikes detected!
  16. Jo Farrow is standing in for Michael Fish this week - more downpours and thunderstorms possible during the next couple of days, but not a total holiday weekend washout. http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=news;storyid=5908;sess=
  17. Wow, the radar looking as angry as I've seen it in a while! http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=radar;sess= Also closing in towards the 1000 strikes/hour mark on the lightning detection http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=lightning;sess=
  18. We're actually using one of (if not the) leading streaming providers in the world this year in Livestream. I've not heard of any other problems with ipads on there, so perhaps it's just an unlucky timing thing in that you're tuning in while the signal is bad and the stream is struggling?
  19. The risk risk of thunderstorms covers your area, it's the slight risk of severe storms which doesn't.
  20. In case anyone didn't see it when it was issued last night, there is a slight risk of severe storms today: http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=convective;sess=
  21. When the stream is live there's a red box at the top which says 'broadcasting live' or something similar.
  22. Weather alerts issued for this pm onwards: http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=weather-alert-status;sess= And, slightly off topic but thought I'd share a new feature with you - weekend forecasts - first one looking ahead to the bank holiday: http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=weekend-weather-forecast;sess=
  23. Hi Ben, we locked a winter thread quite recently as it's just too early I'm afraid.
  24. If you're missing out on storms in your part of the country this evening you can join the USA storm chase team for a spot of virtual chasing - things are starting to look pretty interesting currently: http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=chaselive;sess=
