  1. Weather alert issued: http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=weather-alert-status;sess=
  2. They're ok for me, but I think I can see what the problem could have been so have fixed. Is it better now? http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=fax;sess=
  3. Just in case you missed it yesterday, we have a new (free) storm radar app for Android with radar and lightning detection updated every 15 minutes https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.netweather.stormradar For those not on android, this is available on the website too: Radar: http://www.netweather.tv/radar And lightning detection: http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=lightning;sess=
  4. Stream is live now: http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=chaselive;sess=
  5. The CAPE isn't the be all and end all when it comes to storm potential, but that is quite a high number! It may moderate over the next few days anyway, and would need a trigger to kick any storms off, but in terms of pure potential, yes there could be quite violent storms should they develop with that amount of energy to tap into, big hail/big winds etc all possible, but this is purely theoretical
  6. Jo's just written a blog about the storm threat this weekend: http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=news;storyid=5935;sess=
  7. For anyone who may have missed it the other day, we have a brand new (free) app available for Android - it's a storm radar, with radar and lightning detection updated every 15 minutes on there. You can download it from Google Play here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.netweather.stormradar
  8. Have you checked your spam folder, it may be in there? Also, if you use AOL then we're having occasional delivery problems to them as their servers keep deciding to delay email from us.
  9. No problem with it as far as I'm aware, perhaps it's sending to another address - best to drop us a line here so we can confirm your account details: http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=contact;sess=
  10. One or two model runs this morning are suggesting some hot weather could be on the way next week, but how likely is this? View the full blog here
  11. Stream is back live after a few connection problems http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=chaselive;sess=
  12. Stream is live btw, currently it's not the most amazing view (a brick wall), but I'm sure it'll improve soon http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=chaselive;sess=
  13. PWO (public severe weather outlook) issued by the SPC http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/outlook/pwo.html
  14. An early look for our community members, we have a brand new Android app available (hot off the press this evening) - the Netweather storm radar. It's a free app and has the 15 minute UK radar + lightning detection on there. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.netweather.stormradar (Full radar app, including all the features from the Extra radar coming soon btw)
  15. I can't recreate that at all myself, so I'd think it's likely to be something local - clearing your browser cache is the usual way to fix 99% of these types of things. Let me know if that doesn't work though.
  16. GPS is now back up and running after some problems with it last week. Team are currently lunching in Greensburg waiting to see if there's anything worth chasing today. Should anything come up then they'll set the stream live http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=chaselive;sess=
  17. Or a simple mistake by someone in the team most probably just getting their days muddled! You only had to ask and it would have been unlocked straight away. I've merged the threads together and re-opened..
  18. The streaming car wasn't on the chase yesterday, back today though
  19. Have a safe flight Andy. Looking very likely you'll be heading up into Oklahoma tomorrow pm once everyone has arrived.
  20. Enjoy the flight - hopefully with BA, free drinks makes it much nicer! When all you early arrivers land later it's going to be pretty steamy in Dallas. (There's a free shuttle to the hotel in Irving by the way - you can get it from the car hire area). Chase day 1 is still looking good, but a drive north may be be needed to get into position once the last people have arrived on Sunday.
  21. Almost there, will drop you a line when it's ready to test.
  22. Good luck Frankie - sure you'll have a great time
  23. The chase season is flying by, it's nearly time for tour 3 to start already... This is the final chase of the year based out of Dallas, with the final tour heading up north to start and end out of Denver. On this tour we have: Staff Paul Sherman - tour leader Tom Lynch - driver and forecaster Ian Michaelwaite - driver and technical Dave Vicary - driver and technical Guests Frankie (chase virgin) Quentin Maxine Jody (chase virgin) Martin (chase virgin) Brendan (chase virgin) Andy (chase virgin) Tony Richard Weather wise it looks like a haul north in towards Kansas or Nebraska may be needed to get in place for the first chase day, details on this may change though.
  24. Looking at it, we're forecasting a fair bit of cloud tomorrow, some breaks - not wall-to-wall sunshine though http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=uk7dayx7;ct=19153~Mansfield;sess=#forecast
