  1. Sleet here now, started as rain. Temp 2.5c dropping slowly
  2. Just experienced the same travelling back from Croydon to gravesend. Temp around 3.7c and dropping
  3. 3.3c here after a high of 5.6c today. Light rain falling.
  4. aaahh what a day......20cms of snow, no work , everybody out walking, people smiling, children of all ages playing together building snowmen and sledging and best of all ..........................................it was free Life as it should be.

  6. strange here in Shorne...it snowed lightly during the night and we totalled about 3" depth. Temp has risen steadily through the early morning to +1.1c at 9am but now dropped back to 0.7c as Snow starts to fall again. To the East it looks very dark. Now snowing heavily!
  7. Nothing in Gravesend now for around an hour. Wind died right down too. Temp risen to -0.9c
  8. Gravesend East, intermittent Snow. Light grains and flakes. Temps fluctuating between -1.1c & -2.5. Now -1.7c. Lull in the wind at present too.
  9. Steady dry powdery snowfall in East Gravesend, everything covered now. -2.1c
  10. Thats because you are on the East coast forecast. Select the South East, its there.
  11. Nothing but a few passing flakes in Gravesend for the past two hours. Showers East and West though. Looks like the wind has swung more North of East preventing any streamer for the Thames and killing the shower intensity over Essex.
  12. Dew point of -4 . Temp at 0.5c but the snow is melting fast as it hits the ground. Anybody explain ???

  17. I think there will be some convective Snow showing up this afternoon as the unstable air crosses the North Sea. Already seeing grains here in Gravesend.

  19. CET for 2009 of 9.2c. Continuing with the cooling theme. A year similar to 2008 in many ways with a predominantly cool, wet summer and a cool/cold Autumn. July & August to be the warmest months ( no real suprises ). Highlight will probably be a glorious April.
  20. Patches on lawn and around kerbs in outskirts. Patchy covering in local fields.......Gravesend, Kent
