    Not very often you see a WHITE on the MO radar! Looks intense down there. Nothing to really indicate up here that we are going to get the forecast heavy showers............YET!

    I did see on the BBC News that it did look jet black over leeds..........interesting

    Not sure about tomorrow here but thursday admittedly so far according to the zentrale GFS cape+lifted thingy is looking pretty good for most of Scotland and east england

    Bit late in the day for anything major probably but a shower has brewed up here. Feeling pretty chilly though all of a sudden

    We will probably get no storms here today but damn it is humid!

    Still the same this morning really for us up here. SE Scotland could get something but looks unlikely here in the lowlands. So near yet so far it would seem.............

    Had a bit of rain here and breeze has got up. Making it feel slightly fresher compared to the way it was earlier

    The temperatures might not be particulairy high here........but boy it is humid! I just wonder if that could do something later tonight................

    Cloud is encroaching now and tomorrow will be a poorer day for us but easily here the best spell of the summer so far

    No thunder here but this is a pretty prolonged shower (been going for about an hour and no real sign that it will let up)

    Not totally shower free all day as it really has got pretty dark out there and a shower has just started.........need to see what comes of it

    Cape did seem pretty good for us up here (with the charts posted quite a few pages back can't remember where) but it's been a totally dead day weatherwise and can't see it happening now

    Still just plain cloudy here rather annoyingly and not really an indicator that things will spark off. All it needs I guess is for the clouds to break a little (I think) and we could be on

    I think it's going to be touch and go whether it happens for us today......even if we don't get a thing? I am hoping to look east to maybe see lightning like I did on saturday

    Not really a lot happening here at all. 1 or 2 showers but nothing really too major. Not entirely optimistic of anything really big hapening but you never know.

    The rain is as heavy here as it was during the morning. Only 2 showers today here but very very heavy indeed

    Skies brightning to the south now. No repeat of yesterday it looks like. But you never know what might happen...............

    About this time yesterday there was very dark cloud to the east of me. This time today it's directly to the south of me. No lightning seen though..........YET! I'm looking at the skies though.

    Might be what came over cumbernauld at 11 this morning. Was really seriously heavy but not thundery

    Very heavy shower coming through us now (Saw it nicely on NW radar) All over now but some of the heaviest rain I seen in quite a while

    I did notice it getting dark at that time but didn't hear anything......where abouts in cumbie are you again?
