    This is a proper shower running through just now. Nothing thundery but never the less.

    Just had a shower here which probably has been the heaviest of the week and it's managed to wet the ground shock horror

    It would be good just to see 1 storm. I am within the vicinity of the areas where the chaos is happening but there been diddy squat here (clouds if anything are clearing now) talk about a frustrating near miss

    Seen the chaos on the TV that the rain's caused for the golf. How much has there been up there?

    Yesterday here the showers we're blowing from east to west and we missed them...........today they are blowing west to east and we're still missing them! Can't believe 2 days in a row we might be that unlucky

    There ain't been 1 drop of rain here all day yet edinburgh has been getting absolutely pounded at times............................GROWL!

    The edinburgh rain is starting to approach in the distance but I believe it's lost a lot of it's punch. How annoying that it seems so near yet so far

    I'm watching this band approaching from edinburgh and so forth on NW Extra radar. Appears to be weakening as ir pushes westwards though.................

    Rain absolutely stoating down here to use a good old scottish term. Clouds and radar looked rather onimous before it arrived

    What started out as a superb day has turned to a cloudy but quite warm afternoon. Pretty much as expected

    Bramley in Guildford has Thunder+Lightning (listening to it with the other half)

    Might have to get beer and get glued to the PC screen for the chase (the only action I going to see)

    Meanwhile here in scotland............ I am not expecting anything at all but some places could potentally be in for a very nice treat. Enjoy whoever gets anything (and take loads of pics of course)

    Even I am staggered at the cape/li suggested for the south east come Tuesday. I know it will be downgraded and with it being so high doesn't guarantee storms but if it all did come off....there would possibly be some serious beasties around

    France looks as if it may well get some humdingers of storms next week as cape for tuesday inparticulair is at -11! (No doubt it will change) some interesting times coming up countrywide this weekend and early next week for sure

    Small but quite vigurous shower crossing over us now (had a wee tiny bit of hail too)

    The thunder at 1 or 2 points was wall shattering. Really could feel it vibrate against the wall. Nod bad little storm it was at all

    The so called "storms" that we're forecast for here seem to be more persistent rain and not really stormy at all (Not complaining of course)
