At least the run of below average months is finally over here's to an extended run of above average months now
Agreed, 1.8c above average all through winter would be very nice.
-
Sunny here but can here some quite loud thunder.
-
8/10, great first two thirds but rubbish last third due to too much rain and storms.
-
Lashing down again.
-
Quite loud thunder here.
-
Not seen nor heard rain like this for years, let alone months..
was like this all the time last "summer"

I agree, output looks awful today and can't see why some are looking at it in a positive way, just looks like alot of rain.

Add rude, obnoxious and ungrateful customers at supermarkets to this list.Sick to death of sweltering and wilting when struggling to keep the trolley bays full for these ungrateful wretches (usually young studenty types all boozed up) - only to get tutted at, moaned at or some other negative response just because I am in their way.Bad enough feeling annoyed about missing out on the storms without the double kick in the teeth of suffering in the humid muck and having to be at the wrath of other peoples tantrums and strops.
i'm sure it's much better in the freezing cold and snow lololol

I think anyone unhappy about losing the super high pressure is living in the wrong country - try the Midwest of the US
I know I am but don't have the money to move anywhere warmer or I would be on the first plane out of here.

Sunny, 23c, nice light breeze
-
Dark, cloudy with drizzle.
-
I hate our climate but I can think of worser
Me too, not enough warm sunny days, too cold in winter, too much rain, snow, frost but there are many worse colder places like Scotland.

How tedious is the model output thread at the moment, two posters in particular just constantly churning out the same old drivel and only posting when they think they have the opportunity to ramp up unsettled and supposedly 'autumnal' charts. I haven't seen any evidence in the charts of anything autumnal in the offing. That thread is really testing my patience at the minute! Even when you have posters set to ignore they still often get quoted by others so you still have to read their posts.
Do not feed the trolls, if everyone just ignores their drivel they will soon get bored, I can see enough in the models to know they are talking garbage and just read the posts from the people who have something constructive to add.

Don't want any storms here.

Average
Yes but average could be 16-23c and while 16c is not warm 23c definitely is.
-
Reality still to set in for some, it would appear. I would not describe Manchesters conditions as warm, if this was to verify. Just an average setup, at best. Not cold by any means, but warm... youd be hard pushed to suggest that.
BBC has 22-23 here all week and GFS shows low 20's after that, personally I would call that warm.

I think decent agreement on this dreadfully hot weather now to end at last, been on too long now, we are in the UK, not spain for god's sake
and hopefully a typically modern 2004 onwards August coming up, no high pressure, no hot weather, Atlantic dominated, and around 20th, a reminder that Autumn is close
no thanks, more high pressure warm temps and loads of sun is what is wanted and stuff boring autumn as well.
