  1. I'm nearly 50, maybe that's got something to do with it! But almost everyone I meet now, is complaining that it's all gotten too much - predictably. 'Be careful what you wish for' springs to mind. In an ideal world I'd have all the UK sun-lovers clear off to Southern Europe or Death Valley to get their fill, and leave all us normal folk alone back in Blighty to live a comfortable life with sensible temperatures. If only....

I think you'll find that you are the abnormal ones, the small minority.

  2. All this talk of a confused picture going forward is absolute rubbish imo and nothing more than a pointless attempt to avoid facing facts.

Both GFS and UKMO go for a very warm or hot weekend for most away from the east coast (where some places could actually be cool) with just the odd rogue storm around. The first half of next week looks hot, but also increasingly humid, with a growing risk of showers and storms from the south. Later next week it will be cooler and more unsettled, with further rain or showers at times for most, if not all of us - where we go thereafter however is still uncertain.

The ECM 00 also pretty much went with this pattern, albeit somewhat slower, but I expect it to fall in line with the above timings come 8pm.

    So where is the confusion?

Since when did something in the models 7 days + away become facts?

  3. Well that is where they are now, perhaps you can keep the views about your preferences in here from now on, as the rest of us do. Agree the models do look great and 30c is a genuine possibily for here tomorrow, somewhere close by may even squeek a 32c, but in all fairness I'd say that is probably to hot for 7 or 8 out of 10 folk....not me thoPosted Image

No they don't, every time a poor spell of weather is shown in the models the usual trolls are all over the model thread saying they want colder cloudy crud etc.
