Have to admit I am very doubtful that the front will make southern Britain midweek, I am hopeful of surprises cropping up in the week in the northerly flow! Hopefully more clarity by end of weekend!
I don’t think any model has it making the south now looks cold and dry next week for most with just the odd flurry, then back to normal

Well if this is it for next week I’d be surprised - surely we can get more out of this .
The UKV has a spec of snow near me, so I’m holding out that delivers 1 flake and is there in future runs
Best get the snow shovel and chains ready #Blizzardof24

It's all about getting the cold in Tim. Come on, you've been here long enough to know that!
Yes, I get it, but the last cold spell in December we got the cold in and the boom charts but no snow. Looking at charts like this just frustrate me. Populated areas of England and wales need a miracle to get snow these days !I want snow , not high heating bills Dagnamit lol

ECM is worst case scenario for the south if it’s snow you’re after. South of Birmingham it delivers almost nothing. The north get a couple of days of snow cover end of the week before it warms up

Usually the envelope for change is smaller the closer you get. There’s still time for a 100 mile or so shift, but it would need to be shown in the next 24hrs. From Hrs away from the event the shift is usually less than 50 miles
