  1. Someone on high ground in the south west got control to the GFS tonight! A second slider …
  2. Snow showers piling in from the east after the snow / rain mix clears south
  3. Shame that low isn’t a bit further north as it dumps a load of snow into central France
  4. Bigger picture ; it will be great to start winter with Europe in the freezer.
  5. Chances of “Marginal” snow events on this run with sliding fronts / lows. High ground and Scotland look favoured
  6. Compare uppers on Thurs night from 12z to 18z you can see the improvement / SW shift …

  9. Couldn’t see the ever accurate snow charts from GEM being posted so thought I would oblige…PS I think they are underestimating depths here
  10. A few weeks later in the season a pattern like this could deliver snow for some! Cold building around us..let’s hope for repeating patterns like this as we head into winter

  14. Indeed, especially in the south East with several days reaching or breaching 30c in the next couple of weeks..

  16. A line of storms around the high cape area (central areas around Milton Keynes) heavy rain in the south pushing north should turn thundery in central areas this evening
