  1. 20th July. Got that date circling around in my head for some reason... so I'll just go with that.
  2. Temps were hovering around 6-8°C during the night, the lowest was 6.3°C (this morning at 07:30). Odd bit of cloud in the sky, but still plenty of blue visible... currently 12.6°C and the pressure is a handsome looking 1030mb. Oh, as for yesterday's "Summer tease", highest we got here was 20.1°C (between 14:45-15:15)
  3. Got a 13:00 reading of 19.3°C ... oooo. =D
  4. 12:15 got a temp reading of 18.1°C here. Past few days, the temp's peaked at 13:00/13:30~ish, so might be possible for a 19 (at a push 20?)
  5. Completely cloud covered here... come on sunshine, break through...
  6. A quite decent day... here's what I've got recorded as todays "highs". TEMP: 15.2c (13:00) WIND: 22.1mph (03:30) PRES: 1028mb (22:00)

Can't see out my window... far too bright this morning. (Taken: 4th March 2014, 7:20am)

  8. Large dark cloud killing out the light... (me looking towards Tamworth's direction [North-ish, I think][1805GMT])
  9. No snow, no sleet, no rain, no fog, no wind... everything's static outside... *closes curtains* *yawn*

This rainbow was perfectly inline with my bedroom window yesterday, also because of how large it was, I had to take 3 pictures to get it all... and I've "bodge-jobbed" the pictures, but you can get the idea.

  12. Been a tad bit quiet, but really not much to report... it's a bit windy outside with the odd strong gust, but besides that, it's boring. :/ Talking of Summer time (obviously favourable for a good storm) I'd like to see a really slow moving and cracking storm - as in the type where the thunder rattles your windows and walls and lightning that's striking every couple of seconds. That'd be awesome - obviously it'll probably not happen, but as we all did last year in regards to "the 's' word", we can always hope.
  13. At the moment, there's been 71 separate Tornado warnings in the past 20~ hours throughout various States. Have been having a field day switching between different States' news broadcasts. Also currently at the time of posting this a huge area is still under a Tornado watch until (their) early hours as this line of storms are still sweeping.
  14. "Real" Spring starts Thursday 20th March, clocks change (go forward to, what I class as, "fake time") on Sunday 30th March.
  15. erm, not really much to report this end... although I have heard a few gusts in the past couple of hours. Nothing "too strong", more like a breeze-on-steroids. :/ Quite quiet... *twiddles thumbs*
  16. That's one term I feel weary about searching on Google. :/
  17. I asked a follower of mine on Twitter who lives on the island and he said that Needles reported 102mph... few pictures being posted too from various apps on Twitter showing 109mph.
  18. Was going to say, TORRO and ESTOFEX both had lightning/thunder info posted earlier.
  19. Just had a look on Isle of Wight (live) Weather site and this is their records for this month, not sure if that's covering "Needles" though. :/
  20. The sound of the wind blowing down the chimney is sounding just as if we were having those really loud booming rumbles of thunder during a "proper" Summer T-storm. Some madness happening out there...
  21. Eventful Valentine's Day then. *cough*Back on topic, I believe I experienced the same "window rattling big stylee" winds that triple_x1 received.Definitely picking up (on time too) :/
  22. Just had a prolonged large/borderline-violent gust... thought the kitchen's "mini" extraction fan thing was going to blow out the wall... it's definitely getting stronger outside.
  23. My goodness, it's a tiny bit windy in Wetwang (*childish giggle*)
