  1. In all fairness, after yesterday's surprise, I'm very happy with the weather now - something different to just the wind and rain we've had plenty of. Coldest temp for me last night was at 2:30am, 2.3c (1014mb // 2.2mph(W)) Currently at 7.3°C (990mb // 16.8mph(W)
  2. Hey cyclonic happiness, brace yourself... three mentions of that term in this BBC News article: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-25902371 (Not this area mind, so slightly off-topic for this thread)
  3. Tad bit breezy here, rain hasn't started yet, but shouldn't be too far away.
  4. Awesome pictures dave48 and bristolstormchaser. Hey, bristolstormchaser, what phone did you take them on? They're much better quality than what my camera phone can do. :/
  5. Couldn't see you guys at 4:15am - totally covered.
  6. There was supposedly a tornado in Leicester earlier - according to some Tweeter's ... any confirmation or they just getting confused with the thunderstorms updraft?
  7. I'm sure I've just heard another long (yet distant) rumble...
  8. I'm happy with that storm, that was a decent display. Oh and a nice drop in temp too. 2:45pm - 10.2C 3:00pm - 5.6C
  9. Had to laugh last night, I checked that Metcheck website and it said I weren't due any bit of snow/light snow until 11th April... which now 11th April is showing up as a "scorcher" and my snow has now moved to a "light" sprinkling on 2nd and 4th of March. :/
  10. Can definitely see the nighttime change now. 1 - Past 24 hours 2 - Past 25-48 hours 3 - Past 49-72 hours
  11. Lowest here was at 7am, when I tottled down the shop. It was lovely! (Do enjoy frosty mornings when there's hardly a breeze) 7am: -2.3°C // 1004mb // 0.7mph (W)
  12. Cars, paths and the island outside are covered in the white stuff... ... ... sadly only frost, but hey-ho. Cold and chilly at the moment.
  13. I'm heading up my local golf course just after midnight to have a nose myself... no light pollution when I'm up there. Was awesome when we had the previous (larger) meteor shower, most lit the course up... that's how dark it is up there. Even if nothing is viewable, can still enjoy a bit of piece and quiet to ones self. Shhhhh... my childish side don't wish to wait much longer. :/
  14. Quite a drop in pressure too. (00 at right-end is 6th Jan [about an hour and 23 mins ago])
  15. Quite a fair load of rain coming down and the wind's picking up... a nice 11.4°C too at Midnight - in January. :/
  16. Just noticed that too. Should be reaching me soon, well the rain's definitely picked up.
