I was just looking at the radar.. It does seem to be knocking on the door for us, just needs to stop fizzling out when it reaches us which it has done all day kaz

Not a flake has fallen over my area Barnstaple/Landkey. Hard to be believe looking at the radar, we have had nothing not even rain since 1300 hours. Temps still well up here. Just goes to show how hit and miss it is. kaz

towel firmly thrown in here It just cant seem to make it this far west.. But you know what they say you cant miss what you never had. Temps still holding at 4c no PPN of any sort. Hope some of you will be putting up pics soon kaz

Just been out to feed the birds they were giving me the evil eye through the window, I must have 100's of birds in me back garden think they have all flocked here to get some warmth, all with their little suitcases and beach towels. It cant even be bothered to rain now its doing nothing. kaz

temps have gone from 3c to 4c.. We have had the same wet snow/slush but just a few miles away they still have snow. Infact the hills around me are just about hanging on to some snow. But I am down in a valley so had no real snow here. Kaz

I think the MO has covered every weather event today apart from a flipping heatwave.. just goes to show how hard it is to forecast. Still just have drizzle here temps if anything are on the rise. I think Exmoor might get a little more snow but to be honest I cant see anything but rain for most of us. I am only talking about the SW peninsula. But we shall see thats what weather watching is all about we have no idea what mother nature has in store for us.. Such Fun.. Hope we get 10ft off snow like we did back in 77/78 now that is what I called snow Has anyone else noticed that although there has been wide spread snow over much of the UK temps have not been that low, compared to other years where we were hitting -14 day after day so when the snow came the ground was all ready cold and hard. Just an observation. kaz

just mod rain here no sign of anything wintry... temps now up to 3c.. must say it feels colder. the snow that was up on the hills is slowly getting washed away. just a horrible dull wet day.. kaz

nothing much here just heavy rain/sleet looks like its rotating away up towards Bristol. moving more Easterly.. kaz

What a sad sight i just looked.. Stood outside in the sleet/rain hot chocolate in one hand and strike alert in the other.. Hubby just looked at me like I was mad.. kaz x

Just been out and its only very light rain... is any off the heavy stuff moving towards me? Cant get my NW radar to work, having a hard job just keeping my PC working at the mo dont know whats wrong... kaz I am EX32

dam my radar has just gone down.. Any of that PPN likely moving towards Barnstaple ??? or should I just call it a night?

temps have really shot up as the front pushed in we were -5 now shot up to 1c rain has just started falling... Cant believe you have thunder snow down there ooo what i would give for us to have a good thunder storm.. Sod the snow give me a good storm any day. kaz x

Snowing here at the mo started settling on cars ect, wet snow here but i bet further up the road it is quiet bad. The BBC today showed snow for the SE only on Sun, has this changed then?

Ive got no chance of snow, but cant sleep either in to much pain. but at least this is keeping me occupied, even if i have nothing really productive to say. I love to hear where its snowing even if its not over me. i love the excitement you guys have... so thanks for the company.

Yeah its only light drizzle enough to wet the ground, just been out again, that wind nearly knocked me over. Chivenor is always playing up. Ive got Net weather Radar... So switching between that and this thread. Cant sleep as i have hurt my back Hubby is working out at South Molton, way nothing to report from there yet. kaz

Its raining out here in Landkey... Just had a look at the temps and they have dropped but the wind has definitely picked up.

prob wont be able to get around the roads tomorrow not due to snow but a piles of grit..

Just been outside wind has changed direction as the front moves in there is not a bite to the wind as before starting to feel quit mild temps still rising slightly. Dont get me wrong it is still cold but not as cold as it was. Not cold enough for sleet never mind snow. I am only talking of my area.. So no shouting at me kaz
