the whole of the uk looks like it has broken out in a rash (lightning) but guess where there is none ..... you got it OVER ME ...... sooooo frustrating ... and nothing on the horizon either lol kaz

had a bit of wet snow, but nothing here bright blue sky and lovely sunshine wish we could have this sort of weather in the summer (not the temps though.. temps here are up at 6 got all my washing out as well. nothing forecast for here looking to get a little warmer by the end of the week So will have to wait and see what winter brings. Don't have a clue if it is going to be a cold or mild winter, me thinks its going to be wet windy and mild. Hate wet and windy dull days this is nice cold and sunny. kaz

Summer?? Im still waiting for it to start.. total washout here again. think the west has been the worst while the east has been very sunny and hot. UNLIKE here COLD< CLOUDY and WET.. I gave it a 4 as it started out OK at the end of may into june but after that its been downhill.. Shame as we have such a beautiful coastline :lol: kaz

i really thought i was in for a chance yesterday but NO still not seen a flash of lightning or heard a rumble of thunder now for over a flipping year. Nothing on the horizon ether. Went to turkey a few weeks ago to find i had missed a huge storm by a day . lol kaz x

i said to my hubby as we were driving home "hope someone starts up the no storms club again" get home and here we are.. So frustrating seeing all the action east and north .. Watched some lovely towers go up earlier only to watch them move off up north grrrr they pinching all are storms, give em bk. Have not seen any lightning for 18 months so im getting desperate withdraw symptoms and my new LD has forgotten what its for. Anyway cant see anything on the horizon for the south west at the moment. kaz

well i wish it would stop circling over my head hahaha... can see another BA flight coming across the channel heading for Heathrow.. The sky is going to be full once the word has spread, hope they know what they are doing. kaz No your right it is just going round and round over devon and cornwall waiting for the airport to open... Good grief wouldnt it be safer for him to land as soon as possible instead of flying around for another hour.. Like an hour is going to make a difference now.

where is this BA flight going im watching it on radar looping over devon at the mo. was on way to Gatwick. Looks like its heading back down over Cornwall now kaz x

hi ya everyone so nice to be looking at something other than snow YAWN ... just looking at the convection right down off the tip of Cornwall. Still weak no change at the moment. but it is dragging in some very unstable air, which i am hoping will not die a death as it comes in over land. but have a horrible feeling that the main band will skirt up along the english channel.. Something to watch. . kaz x

do you think any of this over night will turn to snow? im off out to work in a while all night so would like to have a wee bit of warning. thanks in advance. just got light rain here. kaz

very heavy driving RAIN here melting all the snow. im only posting this because i feel left out :winky: quite glad really because i hate driving in the snow. kaz x

Raining here not even sleet. Starts of as pink then fades to blue as it comes over.. feeling very cold out in that wind .. temps +1 just seen Dartmoor on the news looks like they have a whiteout kaz x

well there was no snow in the itv west country forecast, it was all rain/sleet for Devon and Cornwall and sunny/cloudy for Bristol ect... Said it was going to get warmer as the week goes on. So NO snow then. Thats ok no need to worry now. kaz x

what's puzzling me is that NW will it snow doda is saying 30%today 30% tue and then 15% wed so confused... Suppose i will have to wait and see. dont expect any probs tonight but might have a few probs getting out to the patient tue night.. no matter what i will get there.. because im supper nurse haha kaz x

hi all.. Well im out with a patient tonight tue and wed.. Im only going to Westward Ho! so only about 13 miles.. looking with great interest at all the posts but still dont have any idear what to expect, so will take everything i need just incase, it is not the snow i had a prob with more the very think ice underneath which thankfully is now starting to thaw. im on my way into work in a while to discuss the further potentional snow fall maybe over the next few day's Saying that the BBC are going with snow tomorrow and rain wed, so what ever falls there will be a rapid thaw. ?? Any info would be greatly recieved for those of us that have to go out thouout the night to reach very vunerable people.. thanks kaz x

nothing here hun ... nice to see you still went for a run today.. maybe ski's would be a better idea haha.. my temps have gone up here in landkey to +1 now nothing falling out of the skies but a bit of drizzle. Still got a bit of snow left but its melting fast. kaz x

if the snow cant win out from this there is no way it can tue/wed. at best it will be sleet.. What we really dont want it freezing rain. now that would cause problems kaz x
