    im good thanks ... spending my days off looking at charts hahaha always a busy time (weather wise) .. Was hoping to see maybe a few flashes of lightning tonight make up for the shocking lack of snow.. Ive been posting on the SW thread.. dunno how we have managed to keep it going but we have lmao Hows things with you? lol kaz x

    charming i must say ::Just have a look to the left to see how long i have been around, i came on here when there were only 50 or so members. The only reason i dont post in the model out put disc thread is becauseof all the moaning on there and yup being a female norm means you get ignored so i read it and look at all the charts then share it with people who do listen without throwing the rattles out of the pram... so take heed behind every great man there is an even greater woman kaz xxx

    yup thought the same, temps are on the rise here to from 4C up to 7C now huge jump in just a few hours.. I think we have a nice warm blanket wrapped around the SW peninsular.. Well said Ian, i think some people still think that the weather men and woman actually make the weather.. i know i did when i was about 4 yrs old kaz x

    Hi matt how you doing over there, really heavy rain here, i feel the same maby we should start are own thread for the penisular only.. Bristol ect is just to far away from the true SW.. temps here are +6 wet and wild. kaz

    hi stewfox.. i never expected any snow/sleet here temps are on the up, and with a dewpoint at +4 there was never any chance of anything but rain. I still say anywhere North of the M4 will get snow and of course Wales. Maybe get a few sleet showers on new yrs eve. kaz

    yeah just watched the weather forecast realy rubbish for the whole of the SW now, so unless you live in Wales its rain all the way.. Temps will be on the rise, for us but if you live north of the M4 you might see a flake.. Wales looks the best place to be.. All went tit's up in the end . Never mind i wont give up hope till at least April Enjoy if you do get any lol kaz x temps +6 here ... only just looked.. they were +4 at 5.30 so just shows how they are on the rise.

    hahaha i love the honesty ... I am now totaly confused, one thread says NO snow and then i read er maybe we will then nope only Wales and the North, i know it is very hard to forcast, but looking at it all and taking a big huge deep breath im gunner say, ............... something will fall out of the sky. Cor its like waiting for a baby to be born and finding out what sex it is... got to love the british weather... would love snow but temps are just far to high here. kaz xx

    morning .. just drove home in a total white out, boy that was fun not.. did a u turn in middle of road not planed. the roads are a mess even the main roots due to ice underneath the snow. loads of accidents being reported so take care on way to work. kaz x

    just spoken with my son he is stuck in Reading cant get back to Bracknell... train chaos there as well... looks like Reading was a dead hit. I see they have said we might get some snow/sleet early hours of the morning, mmmm cant see it myself.. those showers that were moving in are going so slow that they are dying out very fast over the sea.. Needed a better upper wind to move them along. kaz x

    thanks hun.... hope you get some.. I will take care on the roads i hate driving when its all iced over prefer snow at least you can see it.. Oh i cant see the PPN moving at all seems stuck where it is hahahaha.. xx

    hi im working tonight and would be very grateful for any info you could give me, i will be driving around north devon, as a palliative nurse i cover all of north devon up till 7am.. I havent had time to look at the charts so doing it the lazey way and asking for help. So hows it looking for North devon? On another note my son and wife live in Bracknell but work in Reading looks like they might be snowed it at work due to a blizzard. from the pics he has sent me looks lovely.. thanks again kaz x

    all the showers are just staying out in the bristol channel for me anyway. Its very icy out there all i can hear is people wheel spinning going up the road, thats the thing im on a hill and the main road is only about 2oo yards away but it might as well be 20 miles as none of the roads get treated away from the main road, so my hill is just one big sheet of ice. just wish those beefey showers would come inland a bit more, they arent moving very fast so would give a nice covering.. kaz

    as its moved across its all turned to very heavy rain. .. well thats it. we have had it all today, rain hail sleet and snow.. Now its just plain rain. who said the british weather was boring. kaz

    hi yup we have rain.. But i went out just a min ago and what has fallen and is falling is icy rain, the ground is now sheet ice, well it is out at landkey, where in barnstaple are you? as i type it is turning more sleety. kaz

    well ive just braved it and went out, temps are dropping again to 0.. dew point is -1.. what i thought was just a wet ground wasnt as my poor bum can confirm its all turned to ice now, had a few sleet showers which again has frozen. Just awaiting this band thats over the bristol channel at the mo.. Showing as rain on radar but im hoping thats because its over the sea, and will turn more wintery as it comes inland. kaz x

    just looked at TORRO aww bless them think they are feeling left out... like someone said take with a huge pinch of salt, talking of salt its all starting to freeze out there now temps have dropped to 0. have to go out in a mo so will be taking a huge pot of salt with me HAHA.. Glad to hear Dartmoor got some snow today bet it looks lovely. kaz x

    is there anyone one on here from the SW... what i mean is Devon Cornwall and Dorset Somerset... Bristol ect is just so far from us,please dont take offence but all the talk is in the Bristol M4 area.which means diddlysquat here. Not looking great for us in the SW but the moors might get a few flurries, think its more the ice we are looking at. kaz

    falling as sleet/rain here washed away all the earlier snow temps have gone up from -1 to +2 .. Mind you going to be fun (not) when this all freezes tonight. The showers are pepping up so hopping temps will drop enough for it all to turn back to snow later. kaz

    yey we had a bit of snow this morning couldn't believe my eyes, it was such a shock wasnt expecting it (not here anyway) someone mentioned in an earlier post how we didnt get much out of an easterly, well we never do not in the west country, we always do best from a N or a NW. its very nice to see in Dec hope this is a good omen for the rest of the winter. kaz
