    Metoffice have just updated going for thunderstorm at 1800 at Northolt (closest wx station) Cant see it myself...

    Reporting in from Harefield thunder is pretty constant at the moment but sounds distant and elevated big nasty looking clouds over head and wildlife has now gone quiet too here's hoping for a big one

    MetO are still ploughing for storms across my area but at the moment I'm not so sure... bit of rain just now but that's about it

    Yup and last week it was quite miserable most of the day and London still got a good pasting - enough to close the A40 out of town and flood a few bits of S.W London I still have faith!

    Just noticed the SE corner of England is on a level 1 estofex - last time they warranted this we had an absolute belter (July last year)

    It's *really* humid here in Watford, having problems with condensate on our air conditioning systems/building up on refrigeration in the kitchen like never before. Very warm as well even though no sun so far today, clouds are low but look to be breaking in places a little so fingers crossed for something later on

    Heavy convective rain here in Watford very dark but no sign of electrification yet

    Rain on that line to the west of me is intensifying quite quickly now but still no electrification according to blitz

    Yeah I have my eye on it wonder if it's going to electrify though? Not sure if it's going to miss Harefield either

    Yeah sounded pretty awesome from here (Colonial Way if you know it) and some good CC lightning, heard it kick right off when it got to St Albans too.

    Looks like it's all going a bit quiet. Gone dark here in Watford, and very quiet with little breeze and no bird noise either. Can see what I thought was weakened has actually strengthened again but doesn't look electrified
