  1. Typical what is headed for Uxbridge has really weakened as it got there!
  2. Haha you know it!! Loving your location btw. Can see stuff all from the roof here in Watford apart from milky sky but it is getting a little darker. Incredibly humid and according to building information 25c outside.
  3. I is going to the roof! I will report back shortly.
  4. Hah exceptionally good views from there but can be a little dodgy if some of Harrow's less respectable clientele hang out there
  5. Love how my corner of London is close to the bottom of it! I WANT THUNDER!
  6. In Watford, pretty toasty with milky skies rather humid but unsure of exact temperatures. But I can see things popping up to the SE of London! Bring it onnnnnnnnnnnnn
  7. Nothing here in Harefield! Not even rain at the moment! I think we're going to avoid it all to be honest so everybody north of me, enjoy! Just had to go back to work in Watford to check the alarms, and it was as if it was almost night time the cloud cover was so thick... it's also very humid but nothing of any interest going on Never mind, there'll be other times!
  8. Naff all up in Watford at the moment, I would say convective rain but nothing exciting. Not bothered though, I hope something brews up after sun down so it's a proper light show But I'll take whatever!
  9. Nothing as exciting as anvils over here, but a few convective like showers and this cloud formation to my west... yum
  10. Didn't see anything on the lightning maps but could have sworn we had some thunder here in Portland. It's been absolutely throwing it down for hours now so wouldn't have been too surprised for it to have been thunder...
  11. I'm now busy sitting on my weeble on Portland, hopefully through some kind of miracle we have some potential this week... I'm in a prime position to get photos of anything that kicks off either here or in the channel!
  12. Any potential over NW London again tonight? Can see some Ac above the house at the moment
  13. I think the green lines represent the path to the Lightning detector that detected it and the boldness of it determines how close? That's my best guess for the minute
  14. I had a spectacular lightning bolt near by the flat, the whole room lit up bright blue with absolutely instant and incredibly loud thunder... I was scrolling through this thread about to try and doze off when it happened and even I nearly left a deposit in the bed with how loud it was!
  15. I've just brewed some particularly strong coffee at work - I've been unable to use a computer correctly since waking up... which is quite essential in my job of network manager
  16. Well it was quite tasty here last night, just as you thought it was over something else came up and it seemed to strengthen as it was going over head and then onwards Feeling a bit tired this morning from staying up and watching so much of it but totally worth it, second decent storm event in two weeks now I think I can live with that. ... now what's next?
  17. It was a bit of a beast over here mate enjoy it All quiet here now rain stopped so calling it a night Laters all
  18. Rain is so heavy here a tree about 50 meters away cannot be seen and rain is getting through the little window at the top of the window frame Gone quiet though
  19. HOLY **** I was just about to call it a night with loads of elevated lighting then the room just filled with lightning and then the most amazingly loud lightning straight after - something must have just been hit with how intense it was And it's just taken on a whole different feel around here as well, started throwing it down and the thunder is getting much louder
  20. Ahh northwestish of me then Kicked off good and proper to my southeast Isn't that just the locals? (I'm a Ruislip boy)
  21. I think the one nearest me is elevated not as loud as it could be
