    same here i'm supposed to be mapping a proposed underwater electric line from rathlin to ballycastle and writing a report to be in for thursday. i have another report to write and producing diagrams on chemical, nutrient and temperature properties vs depth on a body of open sea. i'm just far too distracted lol. oooh very black clouds heading my way edit i thought i read somebody else wasn't doing uni work they were supposed to can't find it now

    i can see snow falling from the cloud but it looks like it's changing to rain at about 200-300m. i've missed every shower so far.

    I haven't been outside for a smoke for an hour or so but it didn't feel too bad last time i was out. Was colder earlier when I went to tesco car said it was 4c and it's usually about right.

    If it's cold I won't be able to afford the heating bill but I'm still rooting for a arctic winter lol. I have plenty of woolly jumpers and outdoor gear anyway so I'm sorted my housemates might be annoyed though. edit i'm oil heating so it's very expensive.

    Now I remember how stressful I find winters lol. I wish I knew this website existed before now. Previous winters I tried tracking the snow with the meto website

    yea i've stopped model watching again. as you say doesn't help with the sea being at it's warmest this time of year sst is probably around 11-12 c.
