They're not so good on sand though lol. I have winter tyres fitted I'm just waiting on the snow to go with them lol

Went for a drive around the sperrins today not a lot of snow around was a bit disappointed only took one photo. I also noticed the waves were nice and big at castle rock so I went onto the beach to have a look and something bad happened lol.

A thin coat of snow on the Coleraine mountain road today too. Anyone know if there's much on the glenshane this morning

No where near as cold as that up here car was telling me 7 but it could be wrong. I really need to get a weather station lol

congratulations born. now this morning is a proper november morning an air frost and fog it feels like a long time since i've seen that. it was a bit hairy dropping the missus off at work we work down a narrow wee country lane which was like a glass bottle and i could see through the fog in the dark which made it even trickier lol. i haven't been model watching lately as we've had 2 broken laptops but we have 1 working one now i'll have to start again it looks like the cold is building here to hope anyway lol.

sounds like frosty joe anyway lol. I'm divided over this winter 1 part of me loves the cold and the snow and wants a fantastic winter then there's the boring sensible part of me wants a mild 1 as i drive over the coleraine mountain 5 days a week, aye it was a wet one today alright

Back to warmer weather today slightly disappointing. Don't know how accurate my car thermometer is but I saw 3 degrees on it yesterday and Sleat on the windscreen Here's hoping it's a good sign for winter

I called into work today in limavady I was tempted to drive to the mountain Road but couldn't see any snow lying so didn't see the point. I was supposed to be in uni in coleraine today but I decided to sleep in lol

We missed the storms up here on the North coast yesterday hoping for some today they were in the forecast yesterday but have disappeared again. I'm hoping for a decent winter I just bought some winter tyres for the new car in anticipation lol

I remember having plenty of bbq even I was a child right from the start of the 90s infect I always remember us having a bbq in the summers. Any bbqs I've been to the food is always properly cooked you need to let it die down before you cook on it alot of people cook too soon. I also agree about gas ones I don't see the point in them it really is just the same as using an indoor cooker lol I going for a nice sunny September followed by an unsettled October but not on the 4 or 5 for a wee trip for my birthday with a few frosts then a nice frosty November. I know we'll end up with Atlantic dross instead though.

i have seen it 3 times one big flash and bag in very heavy snow around 2004 - 2005 when i was driving home from work in bangor and in 2010 in bangor it was really epic heavy snow with huge flakes where i was in bangor there is videos of it on youtube i could only see the flashes the video must have been closer. i'm trying to remember where the 3rd occurrence was lol

Feels more like mod November out there today windy and rainy

yea i seemed to miss all the thunder recently but there's a few mountains and hills between here and the giants causeway lol. i always seem to be very unlucky when it comes to thunder and lightening i always seem to be on the edge of it or in the middle of it on a motorbike that's hapened to me twice and it's very scary.

i've only heard 2 rumbles all year this year haven't had anything else but northern ireland is usually poor for thunder although i have seen thunder snow 3 times in the last 7-8 years

I've had nothing but a couple of rumbles up here unfortunately but the sunshine has been decent this summer though

squally showers keep passing through today one minute it's sunny the next it's pouring down sideways

i'm in a new area for me so i don't know when we'll get our first frost here last year was awful in my old house i think i saw about 2 or 3 frosts

anyone else bored with the weather atm apart from a few sharp showers there's been nothing interesting recently. thought bertha might have brought something a little bit interesting all i've had is constant heavy rain. i know i'm too far north but i was hoping for a breath of wind or something lol

Beautiful day today actually had to go and buy a fan lol now only if we could get some of those storms here aswell

i hope we get a few storms up here on the north coast but im not holding my breath
