Nice. Can see it on the Radar. Giving off a few strikes. Looks like it will pass to the East of me as it travels North East.

Plain old rain here. Nice though, garden certainly needs it.

Another day watching others get storm's. What is it with the West Country

Could here the thunder while at work in Bristol.
Back home in Weston-super-Mare, and nowt.
Suspect that's my fill of storm action.

If that huge area of rain & storms is what the yellow warning over is for then they need to adjust that way further north east than they have it at the moment!
Or is there more developments to the south east of us due later?
I think that's it. We're supposed to get rain later, but everything ended up further North and East than predicted.

It's a real shame. Looks like no rain for the rest of the week as well.

Looks like a bust for us...
I can't work it out because the bbc forecast shows a direct hit for us between now and midnight?
We miss out again. Even worse things is, it looks like all we'll get is the crud from the storms. Might not even get any rain.

I still think the overnight risk is still there as long as the capping breaks properly late evening. This is going basically how the WRF said it would which puts the high risk at risk around 10-11pm rather than 4-5pm.
Is the West Country out of the game?

I see the Bristol storm shield is well & truly working this weekend! It’s been cloudy, relatively fresh with intermittent drizzle here for much of the day.
If I wasn’t on “kid duty” today, I’d be heading east along the M4. Typically, tomorrow work takes me to Theale, so hoping for some fun then maybe.
I can see areas further east than many of the mornings forecasts now getting some action. Thing’s definitely kicking of around south and west London now.
I called it a bust for this area this morning. Apart from a few breaks in the cloud, it's stayed cloudy all day so far.

Can safely say, I won't see any thunderstorms today. Today has the all too familiar feeling of a bust.

You had it spot on yesterday so let's hope you've done it again. Hell even I may see something in my neck of the woods.
I'm in and around the warning zone's, but still don't have any great confidence in seeing anything. Maybe when it gets dark, I might see some lightning in the distance.

Fully expect to see nothing here again.
Would be nice to get a bit of rain.

15.4 and 72mm please

Nowt here as to be expected, even though we are in the warning zone.
-
Same here too, nothing remotely thundery. And tomorrow looks like a bust as well.

North Somerset is the place to live if you don't like thunderstorms or snow.
I really need to move

I can see the usual stormshield is doing it's job for us in W-S-M.
Seems to be decaying before it gets to us, but to the South & East the storms are going strong.
