8.4 and 136mm please.

At least I had a bit of snow, even if it was less than a cm, and was gone by the afternoon. That's better than many Winters recently.
Had more frosts than a normal winter also.
So going from a very low score for a normal winter around here, I give this winter 2/10

Very poor once again for us down here.
Roll on the sunny warm weather.
Well done for all who had some snow.

How long until it turns to rain once that sun rises?
No idea whats going to happen now as my met app says light rain from 8am and sky weather just showed no ppn now until heavey snow tonight but it looks out of date.
I would have thought it will turn to rain fairly quickly.
Nice to see some snow though

We have snow in Weston-super-Mare.
Nothing on pavement and roads, but probably a cm or 2 on grass.

I think anywhere away from the coast and some elevation will probably be okay.
At least we've had some rain, hopefully wash away all the grit that's been put down over the last month or so.

Bust number 1
Plain old rain with temps of 2.3c and DP 1.7c
I'm waving the white flag already!
As far as I'm concerned, the sooner this cold weather does one, the better.

I'm still going on the basis we won't see anything, especially here in W-S-M.
So if we do get snow, I'll be well happy!!!

Had to laugh really I watched BBC forecast friday or saturday and south and south west was going to be the snowy battleground and I stupidly let myself fall for the hope, now it is a midlands north event as always.
I try not to get sucked in.. . Fingers have been burnt way too many times.
Same when Thunderstorms are forecast.

Wow wow wow.
Just saw the local and national forecast and no mention of snow in the forecast next week for us at all!, And, they also mentioned warming up by next weekend.

I think we can put to bed any notion that we will be buried in snow, and have a week long+ cold spell!
Ian F forecast on points west last night didn't look very inspiring.
Unless we see some short term upgrades, then, the usual places with elevation may see some of the white stuff. For everyone else, maybe some wet snow in heavier bouts precipitation.

do you see it showing signs of being epic!?
Not yet, but all the ingredients are there for it to be.
1, Plenty of cold to tap into
2, vortex displaced
3, About bloody time we had an epic cold spell

Heavy showers with hail and the odd flash and rumble passing over throughout the early hours.
Seems to be clearing up, so hopefully a nice walk with the dog this afternoon.

Heard thunder from my windowless dungeon at work.
Getting reports from family at home that there was a lot of thunder and lightning activity.
