  1. Hopefully red warning and 3ft to low lying areas
  2. MetO forecast shows snow showers but doesn’t go into much detail about it so maybe confidence is low for any accumulations.
  3. What you think about the precipitation pushing in now mountain?
  4. MetO showing snow symbols and rain today then snow tomorrow and into Thursday morning. GFS also showing snow tomorrow night into thursday.....some could get heavy showers. Snow hasn't thawed here at all....ice is the biggest problem. Precipitation current pushing in from west to east......don't think dew points are low enough to turn to snow, maybe over snow covered areas?
  5. Wednesday into Thursday still oooking good in 6z
  6. I can't seem to be able to upload the charts but surprised Wednesday evening through Thursday's snow event isn't being discussed. Its showing again on the 6z GFS charts which are rolling out now. Bitter cold here today......reached -9.5 at 9pm last night, warmed this morning to a balmy -1.5.
  7. Precipitation continues to pile in and will eventually end up passing over us, tomorrow morning could be interesting, hopefully they continue to do so
  8. Another couple of hours you should be getting something nasty. Its showing -9.5 on the outside stat on our heating now. It really is bitter, any precipitation overnight should be snow, just don’t know if showers are going to last for us down the east side Cold week ahead to, saw somewhere it’s to be colder again tomorrow night. MetO warnings out again tomorrow hopefully. Not much precipitation about but
  9. Precipitation starting to get organised and heading south
  10. It was reading minus 8 when pulled into drive in car there. Coldest it’s been since 2010.....no thaw in site
  11. NI Weather on Facebook just posted yellow warning to south of ulster this evening. 2-5cms
  12. I’m feeling we will, but will have to wait and see. Precipitation starting to turn to sleet on the radar from the south west. Current track on radar looking good but will it turn before us.....lamppost watching from about 6am it is
  13. You’ll find out soon enough....INCOMING
  14. Yup, hopefully good falls for folk under the pink zone
  15. 30-40 mile northerly shift could be possible....or am I wishful thinking? Will be a case of lamppost and radar watching. Still will be nice for midland folk of Ireland to get a white wonderland like I have today.....great seeing the wee one running about in it.
  16. MetO have cancelled warning of snow for tomorrow, ah well, still have 6-7 inches to play in today.
  17. Hopefully the slider stalls over Ireland, further north the better, while it decides on which route it will follow At this time frame it’s still causing head scratching it seems
  18. There’s some noise from frozen snow sliding down the roof.....I thought Santa had maybe came early and landed the sleigh on it Anyway....Saturday evening into Sunday looks interesting
  19. Still a constant stream of showers heading in, not adding much to totals but nice to see all the same.
  20. I think we are in for a day of snow showers blowing through. I don't know that its supposed to die out until later this evening, even tomorrow morning.
  21. Good covering here this morning, prob 3-4 inches, good to see fair amount got something. Sunday looking good also for the slider, we seem to be in the firing line in the north. Still time needed to resolve it but looking good at present. (I can't upload the GFS chart)
  22. Is there a wider view radar that shows precipitation? I can’t seem to find one that’s not model generated
  23. Wind could do with dying down here, really need a heavy shower to give a covering, radar starting to fill up nicely
  24. bodes well for later Jello, ground just to wet here for it to lie
