  1. Doesn’t really require a comment this chart.....speaks for itself
  2. This doesn’t really require a comment
  3. Some places over 1ft Could be mega for some inland Donegal. Ireland as a whole getting hit Steve Murr has Sperrins in his top 3 for deep snow.....couple of the guys be happy about that alright
  4. I hope I can still get to Donegal come Thursday, been looking forward to it for a while now, will be some drive all the same
  5. Plently of time for further changes to warnings as you well know MS, but MetO I think have done quite well this year with warnings.
  6. With the MetO already issusing us with Yellow warning for Snow Monday into Tueday i'm up to about 9.5 on the excitement level. Where are the rest of you at? Looks like potential for some heavy falls across the country at present, runs seem to get slightly better each time. Precipitation amounts look to be good?
  7. Granted I haven’t been an avade follower of weather to the nature I am now and still enjoy learning but I haven’t (in the 5 years since taking an interest) seen such interesting charts in terms of snow potential. What possible upgrades could we see?
  8. Best chart I have seen in a long time, didn't even get to look past this chart.....bank bank bank bank bank bank bank bank
  9. Wheres the level of excitement at now MS? or
  10. I had found it in the mean time but thanks, Antrim is the closest location to me.
  11. I think mod's might need to implement an age restriction on this thread, some of the childish comments are making heavy reading of this usually informative thread. Anyhow, with the 6z rolling out excitement is +7 out of 10 for next week.
  12. Do you have the link for these sperrin, I have lost a load of links off my computer.
  13. Could see a lot of the white stuff where i’m based captain, midlands could see abit to based on below
  14. Looking forward to 18z rolling out, could be special next week, my hopes are up already and have the polish for the sledge out of the cupboard already. As the guys mention above fog is thick tonite and making driving precarious. Tomorrow morning will be much the same.......careful now
  15. 12z looks like an upgrade? Monday afternoon onwards thorugh to at least Thursday.
  16. Charts like this at 150 hrs I thought this place would be in melt down and not a ghost town.....snow potential to the south east of UK. Anyhow, north west looking like it could get a pasting next week, potential for long periods of heavy snow.......am awaiting the next roll out of charts with excited anticipation.
  17. Everyone must be away polishing their sledges and gathering rations for next week.
  18. Come Monday even Dublin snow shield could be breached. Hopefully the met have more confidence come tomorrow evening and into Thursday. Model thread is like a floating duck at present, they really need something like a full blown easterly to liven it up again
  19. Thursday about best ronan based on these charts, all to play for still and hopefully more colours for further south also
  20. https://weather.us/model-charts/euro/northern-ireland/snow-depth/20180116-1200z.html these charts ronan?
  21. Hopefully 18z fires out something to liven this thread up again, all gone quiet and love coming on for a roller coaster of emotions each evening.
  22. Coming from just outside Belfast the anticipation is building for me next week, the previous incursions of PM air have left us with coverings of the white stuff. GFS charts looking good for NW next week, plenty of opportunity for radar and lamp post watching.
  23. Yes Ronan, next week looking best we have had in a long time, plently of opportunity for snow. As you mention the east have done well this winter out of PM incursions, with next week offering the same. The GFS charts look fantastic for radar and lamppost watching.
  24. Next week looks interesting for the country as a whole. Any thoughts from our experienced folk?
