Just had a squally and heavy snow shower with a massive clap of thunder here! It was very unexpected and there's even a dusting of snow on the grass! Temperature: 3.3°C Dew Point: 1.4°C Rainfall Today: 3.2 mm. -
I've just been out for drive and got hit by a heavy sleet shower just a few miles north of Exmouth!

Just been up to Dartmoor with Evening thunder. As we were driving along, this man was driving the opposite way manically waving at us. It wasn't festivalking at all? LOL. Anyway, about 10 cm of snow had fallen but unfortunately it was starting to melt as we left at about 13:00.

Interestingly, the temperature rose just before the latest shower which ment it was rain not sleet this time. Just had another rain shower. I think the change from sleet to rain showers is definitely night related.

You were really unlucky as Dartcom near Two Bridges had heavy snow for a time this afternoon. I'm currently watching a heavy sleet/snow shower moving to the north of me and looking at a webcam in Honiton the winds were very strong with gale force wind gusts in a few places!
