    Was that Tuesday's evening storm? I was stood in the middle of those tall buildings, getting drenched! Definitely a better view of the wall cloud than the ones I took from underneath it.

    I didn't see anything remotely funnel-like, but the core of that storm definitely had a lot of dynamically swirling scud on it's base as it approached over the JQ.

    Woah, had a close lightning bolt, and some strong gistyy winds here.

    Popped my head outside of work, and it's gone ominously dark towards the south.

    Some chronological pics of the Brum storm on my walk home. There was a definite roll/wall cloud that passed overhead, followed by the torrential rain that soaked me to the bone (and forced me to stop photographing the storm), constant grumbling thunder and lightning every 10 seconds or so.

    Haha, I got drenched walking back from work. Epic amounts of rain ATM.

    All dark and brooding to the south, with flashes of lightning and rumbles of thunder. Lovely!

    And now some more rain. Pity I'm not at home, I bet I'm missing a great view!

    Some huge cracks of thunder from this, set off the car alarms!

    There's a storm just above the JQ, but you've got stuff coming up from the South- I can see it.

    Huge cumulonimbus rapidly developing to the SW/W of Brum, it's quite impressive!

    Everything over the past few days seems to be going east to north.

    Downpour re-intensified, and second pulse much heavier than first. Still raining, but no sferics.

    Beefy downpour in the Jewellery Quarter. Happy to see the pollen being washed out of the air- hay fever was a mare when I got up this morning, despite the rain overnight.

    Given how stationary these storms seem to have been tonight, there's bound to be some severe flooding.

    Haha, I was thinking the exact same thing after looking at the radar Finally got some rain!

    We're almost encircled by storms at the moment (and the remnants of one). I'd hoped for some rain from the Southerly mass, just for some hay fever relief!

    Yep. Think I even heard some thunder from it at one point.

    Such a lightshow from that Leicester storm!

    Leicester storm visible from Brum- I can see lightning on the horizon, and is that the tops of it Cumulonimbus visible behind low cloud?
