    Dunno if my eyes are playing silly buggers but I swear there's cloud building in from the direction of the Peterborough storm.

    It must be the storm south of Peterborough. Beautiful orange flashes lighting up absolutely massive clouds! Will try and film but I don't think my phone is upt o doing it justice.

    Weird... the sky to the South/ South Est of me is pink- sunset reflecting off clouds opposite? Don't think I've seen that before, it's like the sun is setting in two different directions!

    Starting to get some interesting cloud formation here in Brum

    Got some big old cumulus congestus building up out east again, which has been a surprise! Much bigger than what we had earlier.

    Everything seems to have passed over, heading East. We weren't likely to get anything today going by forecasts, so not entirely surprised. Hope you lot Eastwards get some stonkers!

    More brewing to my west. This time last year we'd had several thunderstorms. So far this year nothing, so fingers crossed. We could do with the rain at least!

    Thicker cloud coming in from the West with Accas now.

    Hot and hazy in Brum city centre with a lot of fuzzy cirrus above the haze. So glad Parcelforce delivered our fan this morning, though there is a decent breeze. Definitely way too hot to have worked in my workshop today- yesterday it was hotter in there than it was outside!

    Had a couple of pretty rainbows here in Brum, including a double which I tried to snap;

    Did anyone manage to catch that rainbow smudge in the sky N/NE of Brum? My camera on my phone can't pick it up, and now the rain is obscuring it.

    Yeah, I think if we get any sunshine in London today it'll be a minor miracle! Very damp, humid air here.

    Yeah, it's raining here now too. Smells a bit sulphurous weirdly.

    Come over very gloomy and stormy looking here, rolling in from the SE. Had a few spits of rain and the breeze picked up for a short while, but it's gone still again now it's overhead. Fairly angry looking cloud base as it approached, but I'm not sure it's going to pop here- maybe as it passes NW London and on outwards?

    As others have noted, there's been some regular big fluffy cumulus bubbling up to the N/NW of here during the afternoon. Will be interesting to see if anything comes of it all. Great to see Brum got a lashing last night, though Sod's Law it happens a few weeks before I'm due to move there! ;p Knackered after clubbing last night, so I don't know how late I'm gonna manage radar watching tonight!
