    So as i posted in the regionals, we had a something last night. Could hear our blind by the window banging the glass due to the wind, heard the rain then a long bang which sounded like a plane. So it was either a one hit wonder or i almost slept thru a storm last night. Hubs only heard one crack and saw no lightning as the blind woke him. gutted.

    All being said, it was a lovely Autumn morning. Clear from the rain, apart from some mist forming over the land. My Daughters new school is right in the country side by a chocolate box village and it was all calm and peaceful there.

    Well the winds got up and it rained. Thought a really loud plane was going over, cursed it rolled back to sleep. yeah it was thundering. duh.

    so alexa yet again was right for storms, just not here . Woof, we have a yellow warning but alexa is having none of it. Just when i need to be up early, you have had 6 weeks to storm at night.

    According to alexa, thunderstorms tomorrow! But in all fairness last time no one had storms in the forecast and she was right. (although i personally didn't get one, so someone will get a storm some where)

    morning. Very humid out today, had some rain over night and this morning. Feels lovely and cool atm. Clouds have that blue-grey-ness I associate with stormy stuff.

    And i won't get any of them But to be fair, school is starting and the school has a dirty big pylon near by that i wouldn't want to be under if it did storm.

    wow oh wow. When i lived down south we would get storms but nothing as stunning. Jealous., lol I had to bookmark this picture. There are just no words.

    the storms all have been very naughty. having said that the clouds look rainy, like.

    Yes, it's nice to see this thread quiet now, although i did spy a hiccup or two this week. I'm pretty certain the thread will be back next year, as we can always been assured of at least one very hot spell.

    so much better now, slept well for a change!

    My second storm wasn't as 'bad' as my first. Hardly any rain but some nice thunder which seemed to die as quick as it came.

    2nd storm of the day. could smell it before it hit. Not much rain but after about 15 booms it seemed to die. But so nice to hear the thunder!

    perfect day for me, spent a few hours watching a storm build just to my north and south then go from nothing to thunder every minute or so. Very happy and it went down to 20c aswell. In fact once the storm hit is felt quite cold. ah to more days like this one!

    yep for once Bedford did me proud. Lovely storm.

    well that escalated quickly. That storm went from nothing to pretty much constant thunder.

    Finally got a thunderstorm! Absolutely chucking it down, lovely flashes. Said to hubby was surprised it hadn't electrified because the clouds had that bluely grey-ness about them. Happy
